为了研究芬苯达唑片剂、伊维菌素片剂和伊维菌素针剂对绵羊体内捻转血矛线虫的驱虫效果,筛选出高效敏感性的驱虫药物,进行了药物驱虫试验。结果表明:伊维菌素的驱虫效果明显高于芬苯达唑,而且其针剂的作用速度和效果更加明显。  相似文献

为了更好地了解常用驱虫药的驱虫效果,选择陕北白绒山羊开展驱虫研究。试验选取3种市场常用驱虫药(伊维菌素注射液、芬苯达唑粉、伊维菌素芬苯达唑预混剂),应用饱和食盐水漂浮法和虫卵计数法对陕北白绒山羊的消化道线虫驱虫前后的感染情况进行检测。结果表明,伊维菌素注射液组驱虫后虫卵转阴率为6.25%,感染强度由766.7降低至233.3;芬苯达唑组驱虫后虫卵转阴率为31.25%,感染强度由766.7降低至100;伊维菌素芬苯达唑预混剂组驱虫后虫卵转阴率为50%,感染强度由766.7降低至167.0。建议在陕北白绒山羊生产中将伊维菌素芬苯达唑预混剂作为消化道线虫的首选驱虫药。  相似文献

为了筛选山羊捻转血矛线虫的理想驱虫药物,对8组检出有捻转血矛线虫感染的山羊群分别采用不同剂量的阿苯达唑、盐酸左旋咪唑、伊维菌素以及阿苯达唑-伊维菌素预混剂进行驱虫效果对比试验。结果盐酸左旋咪唑、伊维菌素以及阿苯达唑-伊维菌素预混剂对山羊捻转血矛线虫驱虫后,虫卵减少率均达95%以上,而阿苯达唑驱虫后的虫卵减少率低于95%。表明左旋咪唑、伊维菌素以及阿苯达唑-伊维菌素预混剂对山羊捻转血矛线虫的驱虫效果较好,而阿苯达唑有一定的抗药性。  相似文献

为了探讨小尾寒羊消化道线虫发病规律和药物防治效果,筛选驱虫效果最佳药物,试验随机选取小尾寒羊600只,分为芬苯达唑粉组、伊维菌素注射液组、阿苯达唑伊维菌素预混剂组、多拉菌素注射液组和生理盐水对照组,每组各120只。每组在试验前7天进行粪便虫卵检查,用药开始后,在每次用药的第7天分别进行粪便虫卵检查1次,在整个试验期间共检查4次。粪便虫卵检查采用饱和盐水漂浮法,计算粪便虫卵数、每克被检粪样中虫卵数量(EPG),比较每个试验组每个检查阶段的虫卵转阴率。结果表明:各组试验羊在用药7 d后虫卵转阴率由高到低依次为阿苯达唑伊维菌素预混剂组、伊维菌素注射液组、芬苯达唑粉组、多拉菌素注射液组,分别为92.5%、90.8%、90.0%和89.1%,阿苯达唑伊维菌素预混剂防治效果确实可靠,药效持续时间长,优于其他试验组。说明临床用药在防治小尾寒羊消化道线虫方面,阿苯达唑伊维菌素预混剂防治该病效果优于其他试验药物,值得推广应用。  相似文献

Four experiments, two with sheep and two with goats, were carried out to determine the efficacy of ivermectin, fenbendazole, levamisole, closantel and some of their combinations by faecal egg count reduction tests. In the first experiment, injectable ivermectin, oral ivermectin, fenbendazole and levamisole were tested in 6-month-old lambs, and their reduction percentages were 77%, 13%, 42% and 92%, respectively. In the second experiment, with yearling sheep, the reduction percentages were 35% for injectable ivermectin, 32% for fenbendazole, 99% for levamisole, 48% for closantel, 92% for injectable ivermectin combined with fenbendazole, 99% for injectable ivermectin combined with levamisole, and 100% for fenbendazole combined with levamisole. In the study with 18-month-old goats given the same dose rates as those recommended for sheep, the reduction percentages were 73% for injectable ivermectin, 25% for fenbendazole, and 78% for levamisole. Another group of 14-month-old goats was treated with dose rates 1.5 times those recommended for sheep and the reduction percentages were 93% for levamisole, 92% for injectable ivermectin, and 97% for a combination of levamisole and ivermectin. In all experiments with sheep and goats the gastrointestinal nematode parasites identified by larval cultures were Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus spp. and Oesophagostomum spp. The gastrointestinal nematodes of both sheep and goats on this farm are resistant to ivermectin and fenbendazole, whereas levamisole is still effective in sheep, but not in goats. The results are discussed in relation to the farm as a source of breeding stock to smallholder farmers and its potential to spread anthelmintic resistance.  相似文献

Levamisole, morantel, fenbendazole, or ivermectin was administered at 2-week intervals from May 1 through Sept 14, 1985, to breeding ewes (20 ewes/drug) infected with various gastrointestinal nematodes. All ewes had fewer gastrointestinal nematode eggs per gram of feces (epg) after 2 treatments, compared with pretreatment epg counts. Ewes administered ivermectin continued to have a low mean epg (0 to 3) throughout the study. The mean epg counts of ewes treated with levamisole increased from 3 to 483 during the study. This increase was similar to that of ewes treated with morantel (7 to 485 epg). The mean epg count of fenbendazole-treated ewes increased from 4 to 192 during the study. By the end of the study, the mean epg counts when expressed as a percentage of the pretreatment epg counts were 4% (ivermectin), 249% (fenbendazole), 627% (levamisole), and 630% (morantel). With the exception of the ivermectin-treated ewes, the epg count increased almost linearly in the ewes after the 2nd anthelmintic treatment. These data indicate that the gastrointestinal nematodes (including Haemonchus contortus) may have developed more resistance to levamisole and morantel than to fenbendazole. On the basis of the epg counts, resistance to ivermectin did not develop during the 4.5-month treatment period. The percentage of ewes shedding eggs after 2, 4, and 6 anthelmintic treatments was lowest for ewes treated with ivermectin (20%) and was similar (40%) for ewes treated with 1 of the other 3 anthelmintics. The present study included 19 stud farms, including 243 horses, that were investigated for the occurrence of anthelmintic resistant cyathostomes. The number of horses on the farms varied from nine to more than 100, and horses of all ages were included. A minimum of seven horses were used for faecal egg count reduction (FECR) tests. The anthelmintics included were: fenbendazole (paste formulation), ivermectin (paste formulation) and pyrantel (powder). Resistance to benzimidazoles was detected on 14 farms, with FECR values ranging from 65.1 to 86.3%. Larval cultures after fenbendazole treatment revealed exclusively cyathostome larvae. Ivermectin was tested on eight farms and proved to be effective on all. Pyrantel was tested on two farms and FECR test indicated high efficacy (92-97%). Egg hatch assay (EHA) results showed that mean concentrations of thiabendazole that inhibited hatching in 50% of the eggs (ED(50)) in resistant populations were over 0.1 microg ml(-1). The results of our study suggest widespread resistance to fenbendazole in equine cyathostomes in Slovakia, and possible strategies to delay anthelmintic resistance are discussed briefly.  相似文献

为评价伊维菌素注射剂的驱虫效果与对放牧绵羊线虫病及外寄生虫病的防治示范效果,选择1.5岁感染线虫和部分外寄生虫的绵羊150只,设伊维菌素注射剂0.1,0.2和0.3mg/kg体重剂量组和伊维菌素片剂对照组,进行驱虫效果评价;在冬季应用伊维菌素注射剂按0.2mg/kg体重剂量对放牧绵羊进行规模防治技术示范,检查防治效果和考核防治效益。结果:药效试验中伊维菌素注射剂0.2mg/kg对绵羊消化道线虫虫卵转阴率和减少率分别为93.3%,99.3%,对原圆科线虫幼虫转阴率和减少率分别为90.0%和96.1%;0.3mg/kg剂量对消化道线虫虫卵及原圆科线虫幼虫转阴率和减少率均为100.0%;0.1mg/kg剂量对消化道线虫虫卵转阴率和减少率分别为76.7%,88.6%,原圆科线虫幼虫转阴率和减少率分别为66.7%和86.1%。防治示范群绵羊消化道线虫虫卵转阴率为93.3%,虫卵减少率为96.8%;对原圆科线虫幼虫转阴率和减少率分别为90.0%和96.2%。同期检查未防治对照组虫卵EPG和幼虫数略有增加。技术示范群比未示范群每只成年羊平均多增重5.47kg、幼年羊成活率平均提高2.1个百分点。结果表明该防治技术对放牧绵羊主要寄生虫病高效安全,效益显著。  相似文献

The tissue concentration and efficacy of ivermectin after per os and subcutaneous administration were compared in goats experimentally infected with Trichostrongylus colubriformis (ivermectin-susceptible strain, INRA). Infected goats (n = 24) were treated per os (n = 9) or subcutaneously (n = 9) with ivermectin, 0.2 mg/kg, or kept as not treated controls. The faecal egg counts and small intestine worm counts were determined. Ivermectin concentration was measured in the plasma, gastrointestinal tract, lung, skin or hair, liver and adipose tissues at 0, 2, 7 and 17 days post-treatment. The efficacy of ivermectin against T. colubriformis infection in goat was 98.7 and 99.9% for subcutaneous and oral administration, respectively. Ivermectin concentration declined with time and only residual concentration was measured at 17 days post-treatment in plasma and gastrointestinal tract. Ivermectin concentration was higher after subcutaneous compared to per os injection in most of the tissue examined. In skin, hair and subcutaneous adipose tissue ivermectin persisted at significant concentrations 17 days post-treatment for both routes of administration. In our experimental conditions, ivermectin provides similar efficacy against T. colubriformis after subcutaneous or per os administration in goat. However, the lower ivermectin levels in tissues after per os administration suggest that the lasting of efficacy may be shortened after per os compared to subcutaneous administration especially in animals with poor body condition in pasture where re-infection occurs quickly after anthelmintic treatment.  相似文献

Background

In the last few years stud farms have experienced increasing problems with Parascaris equorum infections in foals despite intensive deworming programs. This has led to the question as to whether the anthelmintic drugs used against this parasite are failing. This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of ivermectin, fenbendazole and pyrantel on the faecal output of ascarid eggs of foals.

Methods

A Faecal Egg Count Reduction Test (FECRT) was performed on nine large studs in Sweden. Anthelmintic drugs were given orally and faecal samples were examined for ascarid eggs on the day of deworming and 14 days later. Faecal Egg Count Reductions (FECRs) were calculated on arithmetic means of transformed individual FECRs and on arithmetic means of individual FECRs.

Results

Seventy-nine (48%) out of a total of 165 foals sampled were positive for P. equorum eggs before deworming and 66 of these met the criteria for being used in the efficacy assessment. It was shown that there was no, or very low activity of ivermectin on the output of ascarid eggs in the majority of the foals, whereas for fenbendazole and pyrantel it was >90%.

Conclusion

Ivermectin resistance was shown in 5 out of 6 farms. Therefore, ivermectin should not be the drug of choice in the control of P. equorum infections in foals. According to the results of this study, fenbendazole or pyrantel are still effective and should be used against this parasite.  相似文献

The efficacy of ivermectin, fenbendazole and levamisole was determined in lambs individually infected with 5000 third stage larvae of Teladorsagia (Ostertagia) species isolated from a herd of goats with a history of benzimidazole resistance and where the efficacy of ivermectin had also suffered an apparent decline. Efficacies, calculated using geometric means, for groups where treatments were directed against adult worms were 90.3 per cent (ivermectin), 43.4 per cent (fenbendazole) and 100 per cent (levamisole). The efficacy of ivermectin against immature stages was 83.2 per cent. Ivermectin was highly effective (99.9 per cent) against a known susceptible ovine strain of Teladorsagia.  相似文献

A trial using albendazole, albendazole plus rafoxanide combination, ivermectin and doramectin was conducted in Pashmina goats having history of fenbendazole resistance to Haemonchus spp. and maintained at high altitude (>2350 m above sea level). Day 0 infection level was variable in different groups of animals and their larval cultures indicated Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Ostertagia and Oesophagostomum spp. infection, in addition to Nematodirus spp. as observed in egg counts. Efficacy of drugs was calculated on day 14 post treatment by faecal egg count reduction test (FECRT). Albendazole was least effective (14%) followed by its combination with rafoxanide (54%). However, ivermectin and doramectin were 96% and 94% effective against gastrointestinal nematodes of Pashmina goats. It was concluded that use of albendazole and its combination with rafoxanide are ineffective in controlling the nematodes of goats at this farm; hence, future use must be avoided. However, regular monitoring of the efficacy of ivermectin and doramectin is needed.  相似文献

This study was conducted on a stud farm in Sweden to investigate the species composition of cyathostomins expelled in the faeces of horses after deworming using three different anthelmintic preparations. Twenty-seven horses excreting > or = 200 strongyle eggs per gram faeces (EPG) were divided into three comparable groups and dewormed on day 0 with either of following compounds: 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg body weight (bw), 19 mg pyrantel pamoate per kg bw or 7.5 mg fenbendazole per kg bw. For each of the 3 days following anthelmintic treatment faeces was collected from individual horses and subsamples were fixed in formalin. Four days after the anthelmintic treatment all horses were re-treated with ivermectin and faeces was collected on day 5. Individual subsamples from each of the four sampling occasions were examined for cyathostomin nematodes. Sixty-three to 270 worms per horse were identified to the species level. The majority of the worms recovered were expelled during the first day from horses treated with ivermectin or pyrantel pamoate, and during the second day from horses treated with fenbendazole. Fifteen cyathostomin species were identified and the six most prevalent were Cylicocyclus nassatus, Cyathostomum catinatum, Cylicostephanus longibursatus, Cylicocyclus leptostomus, Cylicostephanus minutus and Cylicostephanus calicatus. These species composed 91% of the total burden of cyathostomins. The number of species found per horse ranged from 6 to 13, with an average of 9. No significant differences in species composition or distribution were found between the treatment groups. On day 5, i.e. 1 day after the last ivermectin treatment, 93% of the adult worms were recovered from horses in the fenbendazole group.This study showed that it was possible to identify cyathostomins expelled in faeces of dewormed horses, and that the most prevalent species corresponded to those found in autopsy surveys performed in other countries.  相似文献

A study was carried out to determine the epidemiology of gastrointestinal nematodes in indigenous Tuli cattle and the effect of dietary protein supplementation and anthelmintic treatment on productivity in young growing cattle. Forty steers with an average age of 18 months were divided into 4 groups; 1) fenbendazole (slow release bolus) and cottonseed meal (FCSM group), 2) fenbendazole (FBZ group), 3) cottonseed meal (CSM group) and 4) control (no cottonseed meal and no fenbendazole) (control group). Performance parameters measured included worm eggs per gram of faeces (EPG), packed cell volume (PCV), albumin and live-weight gain. Results showed that faecal worm egg counts were lower and PCV was higher in the FCSM and FBZ groups than in the CSM and control groups (P < 0.01). Weight gains were higher in the CSM and FCSM groups than in the FBZ and control groups (P < 0.05). The cost benefits of anthelmintic treatment and dietary supplementation were apparent in this study. The improved growth performance of the FCSM, FBZ and CSM groups reflected a financial gain over the controls on termination of the study. The dominant genera of gastrointestinal nematodes on faecal culture, pasture larval counts and necropsy were Cooperia and Haemonchus. The incidences of Trichostrongylus, Oesophagostomum and Bunostomum were low.  相似文献
