The poor adhesion of bamboo coatings is a serious issue in the bamboo industry. To develop a pretreatment method that improves the adhesion of films and increases the economic value of bamboo products, a study of hydrogen peroxide treatment with solutions of various pH (pH 4–9) on bamboo surfaces was conducted. Five-year-old ma bamboo (Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro), and nitrocellulose lacquer were used in the study. Surface properties of the bamboo such as contact angle and color were evaluated, and 180° peel strength and shear strength tests for measuring adhesion of films were conducted. The results showed that the wettability of water droplets and the carbonyl group concentration on the bamboo surface were increased significantly by alkaline (pH 8 and 9) hydrogen peroxide treatments. There was only minor color variation and the outer wax layer of bamboo was etched to form additional recesses after hydrogen peroxide treatment. It was also found that all hydrogen peroxide treatments improved the adhesion of bamboo coating; bamboo treated with hydrogen peroxide at pH 7 showed the greatest improvement. The enhanced adhesion was attributed to the mechanical interlocking of the film on the treated bamboo rather than to surface activation.  相似文献

This study examined effects of surface modification with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on adhesive bond performance in birch veneer bonded with phenol–formaldehyde resin. The veneer was treated with 5% of H2O2 at 80 °C in the presence of alkali with the objective of improving adhesive bond performance and reducing the resin demand. The effects of the surface modification were determined by surface color measured with a spectrophotometer, bond performance tests with ABES (automated bonding evaluation system) and surface hydrophobicity with sessile contact angle measurements. Results demonstrated that veneer surface became significantly whiter, which also increased in lightness and decreased in redness and yellowness. ABES test revealed that a remarkable increase in bond performance in the treated veneer and the maximum bond strength with the treatment at 60 min, which was nearly twice as high as reference sample (5.42 → 9.94 N/mm2), was obtained. A notable decrease in contact angle measurements was also observed in the treated veneers (0° in 0.5 s). The surface modification of birch veneer with H2O2 + alkali demonstrated greater potential for the improvement of physical characteristics in veneer surface. Other aspects of H2O2 consumption during the treatment are also discussed.  相似文献

木聚糖酶预处理对麦草化学机械浆可漂性及白度的改善   总被引:9,自引:1,他引:9  
探讨了以玉米芯片为碳源制备木聚糖酶及麦草化学机械浆经该木聚糖酶预处理后可漂性和白度的改善效果。结果表明,直接以玉米芯为底物、里氏木霉为菌种产酶效果较好,当底物浓度为18g/L时,木聚糖酶活力可达38.34IU/mL。木聚糖酶预处理有利于改善麦草化机浆的可漂性,促进其过氧化氢漂白,有提高漂白浆白度,降低漂剂消耗。研究表明,当经单段H2O2漂至相同白度时,木聚糖酶预处理后可节约50%的H2O2用量。若麦草CMP酶处理后采用高浓度两段过氧化氢漂白,即XP3P3漂序(H2O2总量为6%0时,白度可达60%(ISO)以上。  相似文献

通过化学试剂与木材中木质素、抽提物等成分发生反应,可以改变木材的颜色,从而达到对木材表面修饰的目的。以氯化亚铁(FeCl2)为变色剂,通过浸渍的方式获得了变色麻栎(Quercus acutissima)单板。利用正交试验研究了亚铁离子的质量分数、处理温度、处理时间以及干燥温度对麻栎单板变色的影响,获得了最佳处理工艺;利用色差仪对麻栎表面的色度系数进行了测试,并通过紫外漫反射光谱和红外光谱对麻栎变色的原因进行了探究。实验结果表明:经氯化亚铁溶液处理后,麻栎单板表面变为蓝黑色,颜色均匀,纹理清晰;影响麻栎单板变色的各因素主次顺序为氯化亚铁质量分数>干燥温度>处理温度>处理时间。氯化亚铁对麻栎进行化学变色处理的优化工艺参数为:氯化亚铁质量分数为1.0%、处理时间为10 min、处理温度为80℃、干燥温度为40℃。碱抽提可以去除麻栎单板表面大部分可以与铁离子发生变色反应的木质素或酚类物质,碱抽提后的麻栎不再发生明显的变色反应;麻栎与铁离子的变色反应,主要发生在木材的酚羟基和芳香环取代基上,木材中的酚类物质与铁离子络合反应是其变色的主要原因。  相似文献

The color change of ash wood ( Fraxinus mandshurica ) before and after high temperature heat treatment were investigated with WSC-S color difference meter in this paper. The results showed that: the color of treated wood is affected by the processing temperature, the higher the temperature, the darker the appearance, moreover, the change in L~* component can be used for quantitative analysis on color change. The color of treated ash wood by suitable processing temperature could be simulated to some valuable wood, for example, teak wood, some rosewood species, etc. The color of treated wood could be well replicated from laboratory scale experiments to commercial scale production.  相似文献

The effects on soil of canopy and roots of coppiced teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) regrowth in a maize-teak mixture were investigated experimentally by trenching and coppice shoot control. Nitrogen, potassium, magnesium and calcium content of soil were not significantly affected by either treatment throughout the first season of cropping the soil with maize. It is suggested that soil nutrient changes due to canopy or surface roots of coppiced teak regrowth are probably too small to influence the performance of intercropped maize in the first season following coppicing.  相似文献

Enzymatic saccharifications of the hydrolysate collected as the water-soluble (WS) portion after hot-compressed water (HCW) treatment of Japanese beech with xylanase and β-xylosidase were performed to investigate the hydrolytic properties of these enzymes. The WS portions with different molecular weight distributions and initial concentrations of xylooligosaccharides were prepared as substrates, one of which contained mainly smaller xylooligosaccharides [degree of polymerization (DP) = 2 or 3], while the other contained larger xylooligosaccharides (DP ≥ 4). The highest xylose recovery was obtained from both of the WS portions treated with β-xylosidase rather than with xylanase. This suggests that β-xylosidase could have a higher activity than xylanase toward larger xylooligosaccharides (DP ≥ 4) as well as smaller xylooligosaccharides (DP = 2 or 3) recovered from HCW treatment. As a result, the use of β-xylosidase was found to be effective for saccharifi cation of the WS portion, even with a short reaction time for the HCW treatment.  相似文献

The improvement of wood surface wettability can clearly improve bonding properties, as well as enhance physical and mechanical properties of wood composites. In our investigation, the microwave plasma (MWP) technique was adopted to treat the surface of common teak. The treatment effect was evaluated by measuring the contact angles of liquids and calculating the free surface energy. The results show that the modification effect improved when the sample was located 120 mm from the resonance cavity, rather than at 80 mm. A MWP treatment over a short span of time is useful to lower the contact angles and improve the surface wettability considerably. 为探究国产柚木抽提物对心材和边材颜色差异的影响,采用3种沸程的石油醚溶液分别对国产柚木的心材与边材进行抽提处理,利用气相色谱-质谱法分析抽提液的成分和含量,并以差异较大的抽提物溶液处理柚木边材,通过色度学参数表征柚木边材的变色情况,从而验证影响柚木心材和边材颜色的主要抽提物成分。结果表明:在3种沸程的石油醚抽提液中,柚木心材抽提物在成分种类数量和含量上均显著高于边材;不同沸程的石油醚对柚木心、边材中抽提物成分有一定的影响,其中30~60℃(低沸程)和60~90℃(中沸程)石油醚抽提物成分和含量的差异较小,而90~120℃(高沸程)石油醚抽提物的含量较高,约为中、低沸程抽提物含量的2倍;柚木心材抽提液中酚类、醌类、烯烃类物质的含量较多,但这些物质在边材中含量极低;4-叔丁基-2-苯基苯酚、2-甲基蒽醌(柚木醌)、全反式三十碳六烯(角鲨烯)是柚木心、边材抽提物含量差异最明显的物质。经角鲨烯溶液处理后的柚木边材表面颜色变黄,更接近心材颜色,因此,角鲨烯是导致柚木心边材颜色差异的重要抽提物成分。  相似文献

研究了半纤维素酶E-An-76作为漂白助剂对桦木硫酸盐浆及麦草烧碱蒽醌浆CEH三段漂的影响。结果表明:桦木KP浆用E-An-76预处理后再经CEH三段漂,其白度明显高于相同用氯量下未用酶预处理的漂白浆。另一方面在保持白度不变的情况下酶处理浆的漂白可节省近50%的用氯量。麦草Soda-AQ浆经E-An-76预处理后再经CEH三段漂与酶未处理浆的CEH三段漂比较亦可明显提高白度,但得率下降严重。通过对桦木KP浆酶解液中还原糖以及单糖组成分析,发现浆中再沉积或回吸的木聚糖在E-An-76助剂漂白中起着重要作用。  相似文献

A study was conducted to test wettability changes of the wheat straw treated with different methods for the preparation of wheat straw particle board. The wheat straws were separately sprayed with two chemicals (0.6% NaOH, 0.3% H2O2) and three enzymes (lipase, xylanase, cellulase). The contact angle between water and the surface of wheat straw was measured and the spreading-penetration parameters (K-values) were also calculated with wetting model. The surfaces of treated wheat straw and control sample were scanned by means of Micro-FTIR, and their peaks arrangements were analyzed. The surface morphologies of treated wheat straw and control sample were also observed by SEM. Chemical etching was found on the exterior surfaces of the straws treated separately with 0.6% NaOH and 0.3% H2O2; furthermore, the spreading-penetration parameters (K-values) of the distilled water on the exterior surfaces of the treated wheat straw along the grain were higher than that of control. The wettability of exterior surfaces of the wheat straws treated separately with lipase, xylanase and cellulose were improved after treating for seven days, and among the three enzymes treatments, the lipase treatment showed best result. The lipase treatment and NaOH treatment were determined as better methods for improving the wettability of wheat straw surfaces. However, in the economic aspect, NaOH treatment was more practical and easier in the pretreatment for the manufacture of straw particle board.  相似文献

采用3.00、4.50、6.00mm厚度小径柚木单板制备单板层积材(LVL),研究单板厚度对单板层积材力学性能的影响。结果表明:单板厚度对于层积材静曲强度和弹性模量有显著影响,随着单板厚度增加,静曲强度与弹性模量减小;强度均达到GB/T20241—2006《单板层积材》中不同等级要求。生产相同厚度单板层积材时应根据耗胶量与所需力学强度选择合适单板厚度,寻求成本与质量的平衡。  相似文献

为了研究活性染料对染色单板胶合性能的影响,分别采用环保型低毒脲醛树脂胶和单组分湿固化异氰酸酯胶进行杨木染色单板的胶合,测试染色后杨木单板的润湿性和胶合强度,结果得出:染色处理能够在一定程度上增加单板的孔隙度,有利于黏度较低的胶黏剂的铺展,也有利于改善其胶合性能;对于黏度较大的胶黏剂则影响不明显。  相似文献

Harvested logs supplied from five fibre-managed Eucalyptus nitens plantation coupes with different growing environments were assessed for quality and stiffness. Billets extracted from the logs were rotary peeled for veneer. When averaged across the five coupes, 30% of veneer recovered could be used directly in structural plywood production and an additional 20–25% could be used after further processing. In visual assessment most veneer was assigned an Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS2269.0:2012 Quality D. Acoustic testing during processing showed veneer peeled from a drier and lower elevation coupe had significantly higher dynamic MOE values than veneer processed from logs harvested from wetter higher elevation coupes. To examine the utility of the E. nitens peeled veneer in the production of structural plywood, it was combined with veneer of a known higher stiffness, rotary peeled from regrowth forest Tasmanian oak species logs. Structural seven-ply panels were manufactured from the veneer prepared in three different ply arrangements. Mechanical testing of the panels in accordance with AS/NZS2269.0:2012 showed that an F17 target stress-grade panel product of 83% E. nitens and 17% Tasmanian oak species could be produced, if E. nitens veneer of higher stiffness were selected from veneer segregated by estimated dynamic Modulus of Elasticity value. Panels with 50% E. nitens and 50% Tasmanian oak veneer could be produced by selecting E. nitens veneer of lower stiffness after segregation. In the majority of panels tested stress-grade rating was limited by perpendicular bending strength. Outcomes from the study indicate that structural plywood can be manufactured using differing proportions of E. nitens veneer, rotary peeled from fibre-managed plantations, provided it can be segregated into stiffness categories and selected to achieve a target stress-grade.  相似文献

Effects of intercropping Leucaena on early teak growth and soil properties in a simulated taungua system were evaluated in a humid tropical region of central Kerala in peninsular India. The experimental variables included five combinations of teak and Leucaena (100:0, 67:33, 50:50, 33:67, and 0:100). Intercropping Leucaena promoted height and diameter growth of teak. Teak growth increased with increasing relative proportion of Leucaena in the mixture. Forty-four months after planting, teak in the 33% teak-67% Leucaena mixture were 45% taller and 71% larger in diameter at breast height than those in pure stands. Implicit in this growth stimulation of teak by intercropped Leucaena is its nitrogen fixing ability and potential as a soil improver. Soil analysis of the experimental plots provided corroborative evidence in this respect. Total nitrogen increased with increasing relative proportion of Leucaena in the mixture. Available P content of the soil increased as the proportion of Leucaena increased to 50% but declined thereafter. Teak (Tectona grandis L. f) has been introduced to reforestation programs in many tropical countries for timber production. The use of teak plantations has changed the supply from large-diameter logs to small-diameter logs featuring a higher proportion of juvenile wood and more knots. Generally, the teak from fast-growth plantation is harvested after 15–30 years of growth, with logs ranging from 12 to 30 cm in diameter. The goal of this work was to review the factors that influence the heartwood formation, variation, quality, color, and durability in teak and to understand which factors should be controlled in fast-growth plantations. Important factors in the heartwood properties of teak trees from fast-growth plantations are as follows: the tree age, longitudinal variation, geographic location, environmental conditions, and silvicultural activities. The effect of short-term thermomechanical densification of veneer on the surface roughness and surface anatomical changes in four wood species – alder (Alnus glutinosa Gaertn.), beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), birch (Betula verrucosa Ehrh.), and pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) – was studied. Veneer sheets were densified at a temperature of 100, 150, or 200°C and at a pressure of 4, 8, or 12 MPa for 4 minutes. Seven roughness parameters such as Ra, Rz, Rq, Rp, Rv, Rsk, and Rku were determined. Profile surface was recorded using a modified Carl Zeiss ME-10 profile gauging profilometer. Surface anatomical changes of veneer were examined using scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that densification temperature and pressure affect surface roughness of veneer. The surface became smoother, and roughness values decreased significantly (except for Rku which increased slightly) with increasing temperature and pressure of densification. The effect of temperature on surface roughness changes is more pronounced compared with that of densification pressure. The lowest values of surface roughness were recorded for pine veneer samples followed by alder, birch, and beech samples. These results can be used to provide initial data for adhesive application processes in woodworking industry.  相似文献

【目的】柚木在阳光照射下由浅棕色转变成金黄色从而变得更加珍贵,对柚木光变色机理的研究可以增加柚木的商品价值,也是建立木材材色调控技术方法的基础,本文旨在探讨溶剂抽提对柚木光变色的影响。【方法】采用溶剂水、乙醇、乙酸乙酯、氯仿、苯、石油醚、苯-乙醇混合物(1:1、2:1、4:1、9:1)对柚木试样进行抽提,探究溶剂极性对柚木试样的色差的影响,然后再对抽提完的试样进行氙光光照处理,通过色差的分析探究不同溶剂抽提对柚木光诱导变色的影响。【结果】1)混合溶剂苯-乙醇抽提后抽提物溶液的颜色最深,极性溶剂抽提出的显色物质含量较多。2)柚木试样经抽提后可以增加柚木的明度色品指数L^*,尤其是2:1的混合溶剂苯-乙醇抽提后L^*增大最为显著,抽提的更完全。3)光照苯-乙醇抽提后的柚木试样,其红绿色品指数a^*增加较少,说明苯-乙醇抽提物是主要柚木试样呈现红色的物质基础。4)苯-乙醇抽提后b^*值减小较多抽提试样光照后b^*值反而增加较多,这表明苯-乙醇抽提掉的物质有可能就是木质素,木质素部分被苯-乙醇混合溶剂抽提出来,抽提后光照作用下木质素更容易降解呈现出更多的黄色。【结论】溶剂抽提处理和光照处理,对柚木材色都有显著的影响。不仅苯-乙醇混合溶剂抽提处理对柚木材色影响较多,而且苯-乙醇混合溶剂抽提试样在进一步光照处理后材色变化也很大,其中2:1的苯-乙醇溶剂是最为合适的用于研究柚木光变色成分变化的溶剂。  相似文献
