Design automation for integrated circuits

With the ever-increasing complexity of integrated circuits, manual design methods have become intolerably slow and error-prone. The use of computers to automate some or all of the design process is necessary to minimize both design time and error incidence. In this article are discussed the design and fabrication of integrated circuits, selected techniques of design automation, and the problems associated with such automation.

Clinical trial results are not always rapidly incorporated into routine medical practice. This Policy Forum describes a variety of barriers that have impeded the more widespread use of thrombolytic therapy (tPA, tissue plasminogen activator) for selected patients with acute ischemic stroke. These barriers are not insurmountable but will require a concerted effort to overcome.     

绿色壁垒与中国农产品贸易对策

A cellular automation model of excitable media including curvature and dispersion

Excitable media are spatially distributed systems characterized by their ability to propagate signals undamped over long distances. Wave propagation in excitable media has been modeled extensively both by continuous partial differential equations and by discrete cellular automata. Cellular automata are desirable because of their intuitive appeal and efficient digital implementation, but until now they have not served as reliable models because they have lacked two essential properties of excitable media. First, traveling waves show dispersion, that is, the speed of wave propagation into a recovering region depends on the time elapsed since the preceding wave passed through that region. Second, wave speed depends on wave front curvature: curved waves travel with normal velocities noticeably different from the plane-wave velocity. These deficiencies of cellular automation models are remedied by revising the classical rules of the excitation and recovery processes. The revised model shows curvature and dispersion effects comparable to those of continuous models, it predicts rotating spiral wave solutions in quantitative accord with the theory of continuous excitable media, and it is parameterized so that the spatial step size of the automation can be adjusted for finer resolution of traveling waves.

科尔沁沙地杨柴沙障对小气候的影响

本文以巴林右旗科尔沁沙地2年生杨柴(Hedysarum laeve)沙障为研究对象,对营建沙障迎风坡,不同坡位主要气象因子的日变化进程测定和分析,结果表明:杨柴沙障对沙地小气候的影响主要表现为风速和气温降低、空气相对湿度增加;不同坡位沙障的影响不同,位于迎风坡中部的杨柴沙障对沙地小气候的改善作用较明显。     

技术性贸易措施对中国新疆出口农产品的影响分析

近年来,由于技术性贸易措施具有灵活性和隐蔽性的特点,进口国开始通过使用技术性贸易措施对进口产品执行严格标准,导致技术性贸易措施已成为仅次于汇率、关税的第三大贸易障碍,影响中国产品出口,而中国新疆农产品由于出口市场较集中,经济技术发展程度不高,更容易受到其负面影响,使出口企业蒙受损失,中国新疆农产品贸易受阻。本文基于中国新疆农产品出口贸易现状,对中国新疆出口农产品遭遇技术性贸易措施情况和制约原因进行分析,由此针对中国新疆出口农产品提出有效对策建议。

在国际贸易领域中环境贸易壁垒已经成为最典型的、对发展中国家影响最大的一种新的贸易保护主义措施,各国纷纷以保护环境为名行贸易保护之实.本文阐述了环境贸易壁垒的主要内容和形式,分析了环境贸易壁垒的主要特点以及环境贸易壁垒对贸易的影响,提出了突破环境贸易壁垒的对策建议.     

Computers in manufacturing

Computers are now widely used in product design and in automation of selected areas in factories. Within the next decade, the use of computers in the entire spectrum of manufacturing applications, from computer-aided design to computer-aided manufacturing and robotics, is expected to be practical and economically justified. Such widespread use of computers on the factory floor awaits further advances in computer capabilities, the emergence of systems that are adaptive to the workplace, and the development of interfaces to link islands of automation and to allow effective user communications.

菊花远缘杂交研究进展

菊花是世界上重要的观赏植物之一,但多数菊花品种抗性较差,严重限制了其产量和品质的提高,因此有必要对栽培菊花进行品种改良。目前,通过栽培菊花与菊属及其近缘属间远缘杂交,将它们的优异基因导入栽培菊花是进行菊花抗性改良的重要途径之一,但远缘杂交中经常存在各种障碍,影响了这些优异种质资源的利用。为此,本文对菊属及其近缘属种质资源、栽培菊花与野生菊杂交障碍方式、克服杂交障碍的方法、远缘杂种的鉴定方法进行了较为全面的综述,并在此基础上对今后菊花远缘杂交育种的发展方向进行了展望,以期为改良栽培菊花提供理论指导。     

蓝色贸易壁垒探析

近年来贸易自由化程度不断提高,但一些发达国家正力图构筑起一种新型的贸易壁垒———蓝色贸易壁垒。我国作为世界上最大的发展中国家,出口产品以劳动密集型产品为主,劳动力廉价是我国出口产品的比较优势所在,而这正是蓝色贸易壁垒针对的主要对象。在分析我国遭遇蓝色贸易壁垒的现状和必然性的基础上,探讨蓝色贸易壁垒对我国外贸、国际收支平衡以及劳动者3个方面的影响,并从国际和国内2个层面提出应对蓝色贸易壁垒的策略。

从2005年1月1日开始世界纺织品开始进入"后配额"时代,但是,随之而来的却是世界各国对我国纺织品出口的纷纷设限。袜子是义乌市的传统优势产品,义乌袜子畅销世界各国,但是在国际市场上也面临着一系列的壁垒,尤其是"特保"措施对其影响最大。所以,义乌袜业必须采取必要的措施和步骤,来降低海外风险,这样才能在国际市场中立有一足之地。     

Long journey into tunneling

I am, of course, deeply aware of important contributions made by many colleagues and my friends throughout this long journey. The subject of the second section was carried out when I was in Japan and all the rest (35) has been performed in the United States of America. Since my journey into tunneling is still continuing, I do not come to any conclusions in this talk. However, I would like to point out that many high barriers exist in this world: barriers between nations, races, and creeds. Unfortunately, some barriers are thick and strong. But I hope, with determination, we will find a way to tunnel through these barriers easily and freely, to bring the world together so that everyone can share in the legacy of Alfred Nobel.

基于图书馆学五定律视角的智慧图书馆建设研究

图书馆知识组织与服务经历三个时代： 1.0时代,即纸本资源自动化系统时代;2.0时代,即纸本资源自动化系统与电子资源发现系统双轨并存时期;3.0时代,即智慧图书馆服务时代。四个阶段：卡片目录阶段、机读目录阶段、纸电并存阶段、智慧服务阶段。智慧图书馆建设的核心是数据的集成,没有数据作为支撑则谈不上智慧图书馆服务。因此,在智慧图书馆建设与服务的过程中要处理好技术创新与维护安全、数据共享与隐私保护的关系。
