Vasculogenesis and Angiogenesis of Uterus during Pregnancy

An adequate nutrient and blood circulation of uterus are essential for normal intrauterine development of the fetus.Adaptation of the uterine vasculature to the rising needs of the fetus occurs through both vasodilation and development of new vessels.Recently,many factors including vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)and receptors regulated angiogenesis were proofed.The paper mainly introduced the mechanism of angiogenesis and vasculogenesis in uterus and placenta during early gestation and some influence factors.
