Abstract:This experiment investigated the effects of sodium butyrate plant essential oil compound preparation on the growth performance,intestinal microbes and non-specific immunity of Litopenaeus vannamei.The experiment was divided into 2 groups.The control group was fed with basal diet,and the test group was fed with basal diet+2.5 kg/t sodium butyrate plant essential oil compound preparation.The results showed that compared with the control group,the body length rate of Litopenaeus vannamei increased by 11.73%(P<0.01),the weight gain rate was significantly increased by 13.58%(P<0.05),and the specific growth rate was significantly increased by 6.92%(P<0.01).,The survival rate was significantly increased by 5.83%(P<0.01),the feed coefficient was significantly reduced by 18.24%(P<0.01);the number of intestinal pathogenic Vibrio in the test group was reduced by 68.38%(P<0.01);the total number of blood cells in the test group significantly increased by 11.45%(P<0.01),phenoloxidase(PO)activity increased by 21.39%(P<0.01),superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity increased by 7.67%(P<0.01).The results show that the sodium butyrate plant essential oil compound formulation can effectively promote the growth of Litopenaeus vannamei,reduce the feed coefficient,and increase the survival rate;inhibit pathogenic bacteria,enhance the non-specific immunity of the shrimp,and reduce the outbreak rate of the Litopenaeus vannamei disease.
