甘蔗7个性状对产量的效应

研究表明,公顷有效茎数对甘蔗产量的直接贡献最大,其次是茎径和锤度,再次是株高。最长节间长度、每株绿叶数和暴露节间数对产量的直接效应很小。由此认为在甘蔗育种中的选择策略应该是:把对公顷有效茎数的选择放在首位,重视茎径和锤度,注意合理协调这三者之间的关系,同时兼顾株高。

THE EFFECTS OF 7 SUGARCANE CHARACTERSTO YIELDS

This study was conducted with 22 introduced sugarcane cultivars from 10 countries and areas,and 2 local cultivars,at the experimental fields of Fujian Agricultural College,Jinshan,Fuzhou.The results were as follows: (1)The effective stalks per hectare maintained the strongest positive direct effect against both cane yield and sugar content per hectare then fol- lowed the stalk diameter.Next came the brix that affected sugar content per hectare.The sugar content was almost intimately correlated to the deve- lopment of stalk diameter.Furthermore,the plant height also played consi- derable direct effect on cane yield and sugar content per hectare.But this character was not so eminent in comparison with the above characters men- tioned.(2)The effective stalks per hectare was negatively correlated with stalk diameter showing highly significant.It is suggested that coordination of the 2 characters rationally be necessary.(3)The length of the longest internode,the no.of green leaves per plant and the no.of internodes exposed appeared negligible direct effects on the cane yield and sugar con- tent per hectare.
