农科高职学生素质与英语学习现状及对策探析

摘    要:农科高职生大多来自农村,学习目的明确、专业兴趣较浓、目标要求较高,但存在行为素质较差、盲目自负、意志品质较差,个人主义倾向严重等突出问题。他们虽然认识到学好英语的重要性,但学习兴趣较低、信心不足,自主学习意识和能力较差。针对学生素质和英语学习特点,通过采用多媒体教学手段、运用赏识教育方法、提高教师自身素质等措施,培养学生英语学习兴趣,增强学习能力。

Abstract:The students in agricultural higher vocational colleges come mostly from countryside,they have the strong self-care ability,specific learning objective,strong professional interest,higher learning requirements,and exists some problems in English learning.Although they realized the importance of learning English well,they lack the learning interest,confidence,and autonomous learning awareness.Study effect evaluation of English course is also poor.According to the students’quality and English learning characteristic,it is suggested that English teacher should take following countermeasures to improve teaching effects:using the multimedia teaching means to improve the students’learning interest;taking appreciation education method to stimulate learning motivation and their confidence;adapting to the social professional demands to train their ability of autonomous learning and using English,improving teachers’quality to meet the needs of students in English teaching.
