The function of university students' social practice in building a new socialist countryside

As an important part of both the universities' personnel training and the social service,university student's social practice plays an important role in the promotion of economy and society.Facing the new situation of the construction of a new socialist countryside,this article points out that further advancing university students' social practice has an extremely important strategic sense in increasing the economic benefit in the countryside,advancing the cultural and ethical civilization in the countryside,establishing and perfecting social security systems in the countryside,constructing the harmonious relations among human beings as well as between humans and nature.
