江苏省甘薯育种进展和展望

“九五”以来 ,江苏的甘薯育种工作取得了显著的成绩 ,不仅在甘薯骨干亲本的研究和利用上成果显著 ,还先后育成了苏薯 7号、苏薯 8号、苏渝 3 0 3等优质高产甘薯新品种 ,在生产上大面积推广应用 ,取得了较大的社会经济效益。随着市场经济的发展及人民膳食结构的改变 ,甘薯育种工作必须把“高产”转向“优质”,“兼用型”转向“专用型”、“多元化”,并以此为主攻目标 ,改善育种手段 ,尽快育成市场需求的甘薯新品种 ,促使甘薯育种尽快走向市场 ,逐步实行甘薯科技成果产业化及商品化。

Progress and Prospect of Sweetpotato Breeding in Jiangsu Province

Sweetpotato breeding research obtain famous achievement since the ninth five year plan put into effect,sweetpotato skeleton parents research and utilization have prominent result as well as breed high quality and high yield new sweetpotato varieties such as ushu No.7,Sushu No.8,Suyu 303,all of which extension and dissemination over large area on produce,win more social and economic benefit.Sweetpotato breeding should aim at high quality instead of high yield,focuse on the type of special purpose and diversification instead of more posts with the progress of market economy and the change of the structure of meal.Improving breeding means,as fast as we can breed the variety which suitable to the requirement of market,impel the work of sweetpotato head for mark,stepwise put the achievements in science and technology industrialization and market orientated nature into practice.
