加强校园化建设,充分发挥其潜在的育人功能,对于培养２１世纪不质人才将起到重要的作用。本通过对校园化育人功能的论述,提出了加强校园化建设的措施。     

国内管道防腐涂料的比较研究

结合我国管道建设的实际情况,管道防腐成为我国能源战略的重要部分。管道腐蚀带来了严重的经济损失,环境污染,影响了人类的生存环境。本文论述了管道防腐涂料的技术水平,防腐涂料的品种、特点以及他们性能的评估与结果,并建议厂家加大投入,抓紧高品质防腐涂料的研制、开发与生产,以适应市场的需要。     

The crossing of common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with cultivated rye (Secale cereale L.). II. Fertilization and early post-fertilization developments

Summary Fertilization and early seed development was studied in the variety Chinese Spring of common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) after pollination with rye (Secale cereale L.) and selfing, and in the common wheat variety Hope after selfing. In all three combinations the first pollen tube reached the micropyle in about 40 min after pollination. When pollinated with rye the migration of the sperm nuclei to the egg cell and the polar nuclei was delayed by about an hour. In the subsequent development until 72 hours after pollination the average cellular and nuclear doubling times of embryo and endosperm were about 16 and 8 hours for the interspecific combination. 18 and 9 hours for Chinese Spring selfed and 20 and 12 hours for Hope selfed.     

Agricultural Automation in the new Millennium

Agricultural automation is expected to continue in the new millennium. Reasons are given why a number of prototype automation systems developed in the 20th century have not yet proceeded to commercialisation. Some barriers that have deterred this are identified, and it is suggested that research to overcome these barriers will be a focus of future activity.     

Fifty years of the British Equine Veterinary Association as a facilitator of progress in equine clinical science

The British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) was established in 1961 and launched the Equine Veterinary Journal (EVJ) in 1968. This review outlines some of the major advances in equine science and practice that have occurred in that time and the role played by the Journal in facilitating those developments.
