Impact of excreted nitrogen by grazing cattle on nitrate leaching   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Abstract. At De Marke experimental farm, data on water and nitrogen flows in the unsaturated zone were gathered on two grazed pastures on sandy soils during the years 1991 to 1994. These provided a basis for calibration and validation of simulation models. The different levels of nitrate-N concentrations of the two plots could largely be explained by differences in crop uptake and simulated denitrification as influenced by different groundwater levels. The irregular distribution of excreta was taken into account by a simulation study quantifying the variability of nitrate-N concentrations under a grazed field. The resulting distribution of simulated nitrate-N concentrations explained the average and peak values of the measured concentrations. Temporal variability of weather was used to assess the nitrate leaching risk under urine patches deposited in either July or September. At site A the probability of exceeding the EC-directive by drinking water (11.3 mg/1 nitrate-N) under a urination deposited in either July or September was respectively 10 and 25%. The average field concentration at this site will hardly ever be a high risk for the environment under the current farm management. At site B the EC-directive will be exceeded under any urine patch in almost 100% of the years, affecting the field average concentration. In field B careful grazing management would result in less nitrate leaching, but the environmental goals would not be reached.  相似文献

Cell numbers of known species of nitrate- and nitrite-reducing bacteria, Selenomonas ruminantium, Veillonella parvula and Wollinella succinogenes , in the rumen of goats (25–30 kg) were estimated by competitive polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The number of S. ruminantium was the largest of the three species examined, and tended to be greater in goats fed a high-concentrate diet (5.6 × 107 cells/mL rumen fluid) than in goats fed a high-roughage diet (1.3 × 107 cells/mL). The number of V. parvula tended to be greater when goats were fed a high-roughage diet (6.7 × 103/mL) than when fed a high-concentrate diet (3.2 × 103/mL). The number of W. succinogenes was below the detectable level (< 1.0 × 102/mL) when a high-concentrate diet was fed, but was significantly increased by feeding a high-roughage diet (1.6 × 103/mL). Addition of potassium nitrate (6 g/day) to the high-concentrate diet tended to increase V. parvula , and significantly increased W. succinogenes , indicating that these two bacteria can be increased by feeding a diet containing nitrate.  相似文献

Summary The genetics of nitrate content in butterhead lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) was studied using the mean values of five parental genotypes and several generations obtained from crosses between them. One high nitrate parental genotype was chosen and four low nitrate ones. A diallel analysis showed additive genetic effects to be the major source of variation in generation means. Estimates of additive genetic effects differed significantly between experiments, indicating genotype x experiment interactions. Effects of dominance were relatively small. The size and direction of dominance varied between experiments. Reciprocal differences were of very limited size and also varied between experiments. The inheritance of nitrate content in lettuce fitted the additive-dominance genetic model.  相似文献

根据潮州产13种野菜中硝酸盐和亚硝酸盐含量的测定结果,参考蔬菜中硝酸盐含量分级评价标准和我国的无公害蔬菜亚硝酸盐含量限量标准(≤4.0mgkg),对13种野菜的品质进行了评价。结果显示,菜、酢浆草、野茼蒿、黄鹌菜和腋花蓼硝酸盐含量低于轻度污染水平,亚硝酸盐含量低于我国制定的无公害蔬菜亚硝酸盐含量的限量标准(≤4.0mgkg),属于一级无公害野菜,可以安全食用;少花龙葵、马齿苋、鳢肠、叶下珠、铁苋菜、小藜和牛繁缕的硝酸盐含量高于432mgkg,而低于785mgkg,亚硝酸盐含量低于限量标准(≤4.0mgkg),属于二级野菜,不宜生食,煮熟和盐渍可安全食用;鼠曲草的硝酸盐含量高于785mgkg,低于1440mgkg,属于三级野菜,不可生食和盐渍,可熟食。  相似文献

Dinitrogen fixation and legume productivity are greatly influenced through the interactions of legume host, Rhizobium, and the above- and below-ground environment. The benefits of improving legume N2 fixation include reduced reliance on soil N, leading to more sustainable agricultural systems and reduced requirements for fertilizer N, enhanced residual benefits to subsequent crops, and increased legume crop yields. Most of the gains in N2 fixation to date have been derived from management of legume cropping systems and through inoculation of legume seed with competitive and symbiotically effective rhizobia. Further gains are possible by developing plant cultivars with tolerance to soil abiotic factors, increased plant yield, and a broader and more effective matching of plant host and rhizobia. Techniques for screening material for superior N2 fixation and examples of programs to increase fixed N, with attention to the major abiotic stresses, are discussed.  相似文献

通过田间试验研究不同水氮管理对苋菜和菠菜的产量、水分利用效率及硝酸盐含量的影响。结果表明,在同一水分处理条件下,不同的土壤供氮水平对苋菜和菠菜的产量均无显著差异,而各水分处理间也无显著差异,但水分利用效率却以W1处理(农民习惯灌水方式)为最低;苋菜和菠菜中硝酸盐含量主要受土壤的供氮量的影响,其次是土壤含水量,因此,降低土壤供氮量的同时适当降低土壤含水量,是提高水分利用效率和蔬菜品质的有效方法之一。  相似文献

为解决水分在土壤中横向扩散范围小和硝态氮淋溶等问题,以水分调节剂DY-ET100为供试材料,以清水、渴以友为对照,研究和对比了水分调节剂DY-ET100的添加对水分在不同土壤中的扩散情况及对硝态氮淋溶和番茄产量及品质的影响。结果表明,在掺沙和未掺沙黏土中添加水分调节剂DY-ET100较清水处理番茄果实中VC含量分别显著提高12.50%和20.51%;添加DY-ET100的处理使距滴头0~30 cm范围内的水分在土壤中分布更加均匀,滴灌时水分扩散半径较清水和渴以友分别增加22.53%和12.33%;在掺沙和未掺沙黏土中较清水处理硝态氮累积量增加41.21%和18.83%;同时减少硝态氮的淋溶损失量,在掺沙和未掺沙黏土较清水处理硝态氮淋溶损失降低7.53%和8.07%。研究为水分调节剂的使用推广提供了数据支撑。  相似文献

Abstract

Adequate plant nutrition is important to reduce costs and increase the crop yield. This study tried to verify the influence of Nitrogen (N) on plant biomass production and the yield of bell pepper grown in SLAB; quantify the N use efficiency (NUE), and to quantify the residual N concentration in the substrate after the end of the crop cycle. The experiment was carried out in a protected environment. Pepper seedlings were transplanted to SLAB bags containing 40?dm3 of substrate. The treatments consisted of six N rates (0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0, and 7.5?g plant?1) split into 10 fortnightly applications, in a randomized block design with four replications. The fruit yield was evaluated throughout the experiment and after the final harvest, the dry mass of leaves, stem, and root of the plant, the N content and accumulated, the residual nitrate and ammonium in the substrate, and the NUE were evaluated. The rate of 5.51?g plant?1 of N, corresponding to 355.5?kg ha?1, provided the maximum yield of commercial fruits of 1.57?kg plant?1 or 101.2 t ha?1. With increasing N rate, the residual nitrate concentration in the substrate increased and the NUE decreased.  相似文献

研究了我国典型3种可变电荷土壤和4种恒电荷土壤在陪伴阳离子分别为K十、Na十、Ca2+时和1mmolL-1KC1、K2SO4支持电解质中NO3-的吸附。结果表明,NO3-吸附量随pH的增加而减小。在添加相同浓度NO3-时,3种可变电荷土壤对NO3-的吸附量顺序为Ca(NO3)2> KNO3>NaNO3>KNO3十KCI>KNO3+K2SO4;在初始NO3-浓度0.5-5mmolL-1的范围内,吸附量随浓度变化的关系符合Langmuir等温吸附式.由此求出与NO3-吸附结合能有关的常数(K)在不同共存离子存在下数值较小且差异不大,因此认为不同陪伴阳离子和不同伴随阴离子对NO3-吸附的电性机理影响不大,只是改变了土壤表面的正电荷数量从而使吸附量发生变化。4种恒电荷土壤对NO3-的吸附量通常很小,其中在Ca(NO3)2介质中较在其他介质中稍大,最大吸附量仅为1.5~mmol kg-1左右,约为可变电荷土壤的1/10,且在浓度较低时常观察到负吸附。  相似文献
