Phytoncide, a volatile essential oil produced by plants and trees, has not only anti-microbial activity, but also a stress relieving effect. We prepared a sheath/core type melt-spun fiber that releases phytoncide for a prolonged time. The fiber is comprised of a nylon sheath and a polypropylene (PP) core material. Phytoncide-containing microcapsules are embedded within the core part. The phytoncide microcapsule-containing nylon/PP sheath/core (M-Ny/PP) fiber has suitable mechanical properties for textile application. The phytoncide release from the microcapsule-containing the PP fiber (M-PP) reached a plateau level after 4 days and maintained that level for an additional 7 days, indicating a zero-order release after the initial burst. The M-Ny/PP fiber emitted the volatile phytoncide even though the fiber was spun at 250 °C. The release of phytoncide decreased in the M-Ny/PP fiber compared to the phytoncide microcapsule-containing PP (M-PP) fiber due to the dense sheath layer.  相似文献

Present study investigated the effect of dietary supplementation of Bacillus subtilis LS 1-2 on growth performance, apparent nutrient retention, caecal microbial population and intestinal morphology in broilers. Three hundred and twenty day-old Ross broiler chicks were randomly allotted to four treatments on the basis of BW in a randomized complete block design. Experimental diets were fed in two phases: starter (d 0-21) and finisher (d 22-35). Dietary treatments were basal diet supplemented with 0% (control), 0.15%, 0.30% and 0.45% B. subtilis LS 1-2. Supplementation of increasing levels of B. subtilis LS 1-2 showed linear improvement (P<0.05) in growth performance and apparent nutrient retention. At d 35, birds supplemented with increasing levels of B. subtilis LS 1-2 showed decrease in caecal Clostridium and Coliform count (linear, P<0.05). Moreover, supplementation of B. subtilis LS 1-2 increased (linear, P<0.05) villus height and villus height to crypt depth ratio in both duodenum and ileum. Results obtained in the present study indicate that B. subtilis LS 1-2 can be used as a growth promoter in broiler diets and can improve intestinal microbial balance and gut health of broilers.  相似文献

We have synthesized a series of copolymers with different compositions of acrylonitrile (AN, 80–100 wt%), methyl acrylate (MA, 4–20 wt%) and itaconic acid (IA, 0–3 wt%) by using an efficient aqueous suspension polymerization, and have investigated the molecular structure and thermal stabilization behavior of PAN homopolymer, AN/MA-based bipolymers, and AN/MA/IA-based terpolymers by adopting 1H/13C-NMR and thermal FT-IR analyses. The viscosity-average molecular weight of the synthesized polymers were measured to be ~263,000 g/mol. The reactivity ratios of AN and MA for all the copolymers were evaluated to be 0.99 and 1.05, respectively. Accordingly, the output compositions of the synthesized copolymers were quite consistent with the input monomer compositions. The 13C NMR analysis revealed that all the synthesized polymers have an atactic chain configuration, regardless of the feed composition. The structural evolutions during the thermal stabilization process of the copolymers in air environment were characterized by monitoring the temperature-dependent changes of characteristic absorbance bands at 2240 cm-1 (C≡N), 1595 cm-1 (C=N) and 1660 cm-1 (C=O) with aid of thermal FT-IR spectroscopy. It was found that the IA unit in the terpolymers accelerated the oxidation and cyclization reactions, unlike the retarding effect of MA unit, and that the onset temperatures of the oxidation reaction of the copolymers with IA unit was lower than that of the cyclization reaction.  相似文献

This study was to evaluate the application effect of gypsum and rice straw on the saline–sodic soils of coastal reclaimed tidal lands during newly reclamation process by leaching method. Soil used in the lysimeter experiment is classified as Greyic Hydragric Anthrosols (Sodic Arenic). The experiment was carried out over a period of 1 year from May 2014 to July 2015 inside a plastic film house. Saturated electrical conductivity (ECe) and exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) values of soils in gypsum treatment and gypsum with rice straw treatment then reached the desalinization criteria (ECe = 4.0 dS m?1, ESP = 15%) after the five or six pore volumes leaching cycles. However, in spite the 10 pore volumes leaching cycles in control and rice straw alone treatment, the values did not reach the desalinization criteria. The results showed that effectiveness of improvement of sodicity and salinity in coastal reclaimed tidal land soils was in the order of gypsum = gypsum + rice straw > rice straw = control. Our study has shown that gypsum alone treatment or gypsum with rice straw treatment in a coastal reclaimed tidal land soils improves their physicochemical characteristics.  相似文献

以来自于Koshihikari/Kasalath//Koshihikari的回交重组自交系群体为材料,采用流动液体培养和同位素示踪技术,对水稻苗期氮素吸收速率及其相关性状进行QTL分析。结果表明,地上部干质量(SW)、根系干质量(RW)、根冠比(R/S)、地上部相对生长速率(RGRS)和根相对生长速率(RGRR)等与氮素吸收力(NAA)和氮素吸收速率(NAR)密切相关。在SW、RW、植株含氮量、NAA、高氮下的氮吸收速率(HNAE)和低氮下的氮吸收速率(LNAE)上分别检测到1、4、1、3、1和1个主效QTL,主要分布在第6、7、8和10染色体上;R/S、RGRS和RGRR没有检测到主效QTL;NAA、LNAE和RW间存在明显的QTL一因多效或邻近表达现象。  相似文献

It is well known that inhibition of prolyl oligopeptidase (POP) is involved in memory-related function. In this study, we observed that rosmarinic acid (RA) inhibits POP activity with an IC50 of 63.7 μM. Subsequently, we investigated the cognitive-enhancing effects of RA employing the Morris water maze paradigm. The results demonstrated that RA is non-competitive POP inhibitor and that acute and subchronic RA treatments showed an inverted U-shaped dose–response curve in the platform crossings. Furthermore, chronic RA treatment significantly increased the platform crossings. These results suggest that RA has a cognitive-enhancing effect which may be mediated by inhibition of POP.  相似文献

Many studies on land surface radiation balances have relied on geostationary satellites. These satellites have provided data with high temporal resolution (less than 3 h); however, the spatial resolution was too coarse (20–250 km scale) to investigate local-scale land surface radiation balances. Moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) – onboard both the Terra and Aqua satellites – yields a tradeoff with regard to this problem by providing higher spatial resolution (1 km scale) and sensing all over the earth nearly twice a day during daytime; this provides a potential tool for the periodical monitoring of the land surface energy balance. The reliability of MODIS-derived estimates is, however, affected by the presence of multiple error sources, such as those related to heterogeneous land cover and complex topography. In this study, we have used atmospheric (5 and 10 km scale) and land (1 km scale) products obtained from both the Terra and Aqua MODIS devices as inputs in order to estimate the radiation components (1 km scale) under clear daytime conditions over a heterogeneous farmland area and a rugged deciduous forest in the Korea Flux Network (KoFlux). The reliability of these estimates and the associated errors were evaluated by comparing against field measurements taken for 41 and 26 clear days with regard to the farmland and forest sites, respectively. Solar radiation was successfully retrieved with a root mean square error (RMSE) of 20 W m−2 for both the Terra and Aqua devices over the flat farmland site, whereas the rugged forest site exhibited corresponding values of 40 and 65 W m−2 RMSE values with consistent positive biases (presumably caused by topographic effects). The RMSE values of the downward longwave radiation were 20 W m−2 for both the Terra and Aqua devices for both these sites. The sensitivities of the upward components of the shortwave and longwave radiations varied with the RMSE values to the scale of the spatial heterogeneity of both the sites. Consequently, the RMSE values of the net radiation ranged from 33 to 61 W m−2 for both the devices at both the sites. Our results suggest that the scales of the patch mosaics within the landscapes need to be quantified for proper retrieval of the MODIS-derived radiation products. More extensive validation efforts are required to identify and account for major error sources across diverse land surface conditions.  相似文献
