Foliar fungal diseases(rust and late leaf spot)incur large yield losses,in addition to the deterioration of fodder quality in groundnut worldwide.High oleic acid has emerged as a key market trait in groundnut,as it increases the shelf life of the produce/products in addition to providing health benefits to consumers.Marker-assisted backcrossing(MABC)is the most successful approach to introgressing or pyramiding one or more traits using traitlinked markers.We used MABC to improve three popular Indian cultivars(GJG 9,GG 20,and GJGHPS 1)for foliar disease resistance(FDR)and high oleic acid content.A total of 22 BC3F4 and 30 BC2F4 introgression lines(ILs)for FDR and 46 BC3F4 and 41 BC2F4 ILs for high oleic acid were developed.Recurrent parent genome analysis using the 58 K Axiom_Arachis array identified several lines showing upto 94%of genome recovery among second and third backcross progenies.Phenotyping of these ILs revealed FDR scores comparable to the resistant parent,GPBD 4,and ILs with high(~80%)oleic acid in addition to high genome recovery.These ILs provide further opportunities for pyramiding FDR and high oleic acid in all three genetic backgrounds as well as for conducting multi-location yield trials for further evaluation and release for cultivation in target regions of India.  相似文献

Crop yield is primarily seed-filling-limited in production system under field conditions.This study was aimed to determine whether seed filling traits of oil flax(Linum usitatissimum L.)could be controlled by phosphorus(P),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus and nitrogen(NP)supply.Effects on seed filling traits were investigated in 2 years including capsule diameter,capsule height,capsule dry matter(DM),seed DM per capsule,pericarp DM per capsule,protein content and oil content.DM translocation from pericarps to seed,translocation efficiency,and contribution of photoassimilates during seed filling period were also detected.In a randomized complete block design,cultivar'Longyaza 1'was grown under P(33 kg P/ha),N(75 kg N/ha),and NP(33 kg P/ha and 75 kg N/ha)along with a zerofertilizer(CK)treatment in 2013 and 2014.Results suggested that DM translocation efficiency and contribution efficiency increased to different extent due to P,N or NP application.At 42 DAA(days after anthesis),seed DM per capsule reached the greatest,while protein content and pericarp DM obtained the least level.However,the highest oil content was detected at 35 DAA.A significant positive linear relationship was observed between seed DM,capsule DM and DM translocation in both years.Protein content showed inconsistent relation with oil content.The results indicated that appropriate N and P management could be an effective approach to increase oil flax production.  相似文献

标准化的实验室制作与评价方法是面条品质改良的前提和基础.针对原商业部SB/T10137-93面条制作与品尝评分标准存在的不完善之处,对面条制作过程中的适宜加水量、和面时间、压片和煮面方法进行了研究,制定出我国面条的标准化实验室制作方法与评价系统.具体程序如下:以加水后面团水分含量为35.0%来确定最适宜加水量;通过低速(1 min)、快速(2 min)、低速(2 min)三个搅拌过程完成和面;在压面机上压片八次,并在最后一次压片时切成面条;在等量(2 L)水中用相同时间(6 min)煮等量(150 g)面条,煮面结束立即把面条放入冰水中冷却2 min.改进后的评价系统为色泽15分、外观10分、软硬度20分、粘弹性30分、光滑性15分、食味10分;以雪花粉为对照,将待评样品与对照相比后给出适宜分值.实验结果表明,改进的方法优于SB/T10137-93标准.  相似文献

Rice false smut disease, which is caused by the fungus Ustilaginoidea virens, is currently one of the most devastating rice fungal diseases in the world. Rice false smut disease not only causes severe yield loss and grain quality reduction, but also threatens food safety due to its production of mycotoxins. In this review, the most recent progresses regarding the life cycle, infection processes, genome and genetic diversity, pathogenic gene and disease resistance in rice were summarized in order to provide theoretical basis for the control of U. virens. We also proposed some future directions and key questions that need to be addressed for a better understanding of the molecular mechanism that leads to rice false smut disease and the prospects for sustainable control of rice false smut.  相似文献

通过野外资源调查,结合现阶段生物多样性发展需求对海南莎草科植物进行系统性、科学性的整理。结果发现,海南现有莎草科植物为24属、157种、9亚种和4变种。调查新增三肋果莎属(Tricostularia Nees);新增新种长柄薹草(Carex longipetiolata);新增11个新分布记录种,分别是细秆湖瓜草(Lipocarpha tenera)、类头状花序藨草(Trichophorum subcapitatum)、复序飘拂草(Fimbristylis bisumbellat)、宽叶多脉莎草(Cyperus diffusus var. Latifolius)、密穗莎草(C. eragrostis)、水蜈蚣(Kyllinga polyphylla)、三肋果莎(Tricostularia undulate)、截鳞薹草(Carex truncatigluma)、广东薹草(C. adrienii)、密苞叶薹草(C. phyllocephala)、中华薹草(C. chinensis);调查统计发现12个海南特有种,分别是海南割鸡芒(Hypolytrum hainanense)、少穗割鸡芒(H. paucistrobiliferum)、节茎藨草(Scirpus chunianus)、澄迈飘拂草(Fimbristylis chingmaiensis)、多花剑叶莎(Machaerina myriantha)、海南高秆莎草(Cyperus exaltatus var. 采用6份卡瓦胡椒材料、21份栽培胡椒和野生胡椒材料、1份不同属的草胡椒材料共计28份试验材料,在对它们进行了RAPD研究的基础上,进行了SCAR分子标记研究。设计1对卡瓦胡椒特异SCAR引物P8.1和P8.2,用这对特异引物对本次试验的28份材料进行PCR扩增,结果只有6份卡瓦胡椒材料扩增出了预期大小355bp的特异带,其它材料均无任何扩增。这说明引物P8.1和P8.2为卡瓦胡椒特异SCAR引物,这对卡瓦胡椒种质资源的鉴定有一定帮助。  相似文献

瑞泽金水灵55%干悬浮剂80g/667m2(毒砂、肥)均匀撒施于插秧缓苗后,稗草2叶期前施药,可有效地防除稻田中的稗草、扁秆藨草、慈菇、雨久花、鸭舌草、异型莎草、碎米莎草等禾本科、阔叶及种子繁殖的莎草科杂草。防效达90%左右,是目前较理想的水稻田一次性除草剂。  相似文献

The performance of prairie grass ( Bromus willdenowii Kunth) cv. Grasslands Matua was examined under mowing at five defoliation intervals (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 d) and two defoliation heights (3 cm and 8 cm). Annual and seasonal production of both the total herbage and of Matua, and the proportion of Matua in the sward, increased with less frequent defoliation. To a lesser extent, increasing the height of defoliation increased dry matter yield. Matua tiller numbers were increased by less frequent defoliation and were greater under the 8 cm than the 3 cm defoliation height. To increase prairie grass production and persistence, rest intervals between grazings of 40 to 50 d are recommended, or alternatively, a management involving silage or hay cutting offers scope.  相似文献

Subtropical pastures are an important alternative to increase forage yields to fulfil cattle nutritional requirements. Despite the increasing expansion of these pastures in the semiarid subtropical region of Argentina, there is very little information about their responses to grazing management. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different defoliation regimes on morphogenesis, sward structure and leaf area index of one of the most expanded forage species in this region, Chloris gayana Kunth. A combination of two defoliation frequencies (300 and 500 GDD) and two defoliation intensities (1 and 3 green stubble leaves) was compared by a controlled experiment that comprised 1,500 GDD. Defoliation frequency significantly affected leaf elongation rate (LER) and leaf area index (LAI). Under the high defoliation frequency, LER and LAI resulted almost half than under low defoliation frequency (0.34 ± 0.08 vs. 0.67 ± 0.08 mm·tiller?1·GDD?1; 8.31 ± 2.27 m2/m2 vs. 13.27 ± 1.59 m2/m2, at 300 or 500 GDD respectively), regardless of the intensity. Defoliation frequency or intensity did not affect leaf appearance rate, leaf lifespan, leaf size, number of green leaves per tiller nor tiller density at the end of the experiment. We conclude that to maintain high LER and LAI in Chloris gayana Kunth cv. Épica INTA‐Pemán pastures, defoliation frequency could be of 500 GDD. Since leaf lifespan was 415 ± 110 GDD, under this defoliation frequency, a maximum accumulation of green leaf tissues with very little dead tissues may be achieved.  相似文献

A field trial measured effects of the head smut fungus Ustilago bullata Berk, on forage productivity of prairie grass ( Bromus willdenowii Kunth). Simulated swards containing different proportions of U. bullata infected and non infected plants were established in the autumn, and sward and plant parameters were measured over the following 15 months. Total herbage produced from swards containing only non-infected plants was 27.3 t ha−1, while that from totally infected swards was 14.6 t ha−1. Infected plants produced fewer and lighter tillers than non-infected plants when both were growing together in swards. Almost all the U. bullata infected plants died during an epidemic of bacterial wilt disease (caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv. graminis (Egli, Goto and Schmidt) Dye), while most of the'non-infected plants survived. The deleterious effects of U. bullata on individual plant productivity affected sward productivity only when the proportion of infected plants in swards was greater than 50%. Plants not infected with U. bullata compensated for low productivity and death of infected plants by producing large numbers of tillers.  相似文献

In 1989, a mass production and field release programme of Allorhogas pyralophagus Marsh (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) for the control of the Diatraea spp., particularly D. centrella (Möschler) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) in sugar-cane, was initiated by the Guyana Sugar Corporation. The programme was terminated in 1995 after the release of approximately two million adult parasites resulted in a mean field parasitism in Diatraea spp. larvae of only 0.22%. In contrast, 62% of Diatraea spp. larvae were parasitised in vitro as were 32% of larvae in young cane shoots exposed to A. pyralophagus in the laboratory. Neither Diatraea larvae in young cane plants caged in the field nor those recovered from Echinochloa polystachya (Kunth) Hitchc. and Paspalum virgatum L. around release fields showed any parasitism by A. pyralophagus. The reasons for the low rate of host acquisition outside the laboratory are not known, but it is clear that A. pyralophagus offers little prospect for significant control of Diatraea spp., particularly D. centrella in sugar-cane in Guyana.  相似文献

This study utilized leaf stage‐based defoliation intervals to describe the concentrations and contents of water‐soluble carbohydrate (WSC) and nitrogen (N) in stubble and root reserves and their effect on the regrowth of prairie grass (Bromus willdenowii Kunth.) plants. The priority sequence for allocation of WSC reserves during the regrowth period was also investigated. There were substantially higher concentrations of WSC and N in the stubble compared with the roots following defoliation, confirming the stubble as the primary site for energy storage, with roots playing a lesser role. However, high R2 values for the relationships between WSC concentration in roots and regrowth variables suggested that plants of prairie grass were reliant on WSC reserves from the roots in addition to the stubble to meet the energy requirements of plants until adequate photosynthetic tissue had been produced. The sequence of priority for allocation of WSC reserves followed the order of leaf growth, root growth and tillering during the regrowth period. Although WSC reserves were identified as the primary contributor to plant regrowth following defoliation, there was also a strong relationship between stubble N concentration and regrowth variables.  相似文献
