[目的]分离并量化土壤自养呼吸和异养呼吸,探讨各自贡献率及其随季节变化的动态特征。[方法]采用壕沟法和气体红外分析法,研究黄河小浪底库区山地栓皮栎人工林土壤总呼吸、自养呼吸和异养呼吸速率的季节动态变化、贡献率和环境影响因子。[结果]表明:栓皮栎人工林总土壤呼吸、自养呼吸和异养呼吸均呈夏季速率高、冬季速率低。栓皮栎土壤总呼吸、自养呼吸及异养呼吸速率与5 cm土壤温度均呈极显著指数相关,温度敏感性系数Q_(10)值大小为自养呼吸(3.40)异养呼吸(2.90)土壤总呼吸(2.45);栓皮栎土壤总呼吸、自养呼吸、异养呼吸速率与0 10 cm土壤体积含水量均显著线性相关;土壤总呼吸、自养呼吸速率与0 10 cm土壤电导率显著相关。土壤总呼吸和异养呼吸的温度敏感系数Q_(10)值均在冬季最大,夏秋季最小;而自养呼吸的Q_(10)值则呈相反的变化趋势。栓皮栎人工林自养呼吸和异养呼吸对土壤总呼吸的月贡献率为13.23%37.33%和62.67%86.76%,且自养呼吸的贡献率与土壤温度的季节变化规律相似。土壤总呼吸、异养呼吸与自养呼吸的CO2年通量分别为1 616.41、1 199.39、417.02 g·m~(-2)·a~(-1)。[结论]经过区分与定量化土壤总呼吸及其组分,确定异养呼吸为本研究区栓皮栎人工林土壤总呼吸的主要组分,作用于异养呼吸的生物与非生物因子均能显著影响整个森林生态系统表层CO_2总排放通量的大小,进一步为该研究区森林生态系统碳循环与能量流动的进一步量化研究提供参考。  相似文献

This study investigated the dynamic modulus of elasticity (DMOE) of wood panels of Fraxinus mandshurica, Pinus koraiensis, and Juglans mandshurica using the natural frequency measurement system of fast Fourier transform (FFT). The results were compared with the static modulus of elasticity (E S) tested by a mechanical test machine. The results show a significant correlation between E S, transverse vibration DMOE (E F), and longitudinal vibration DMOE (E L). For all of these species, the correlation between E S, E F and E L is more significant than the individual species, which indicated that the FFT method is universal. The correlations between E S and sample’s density (ρ) are significant, but the correlation coefficient of E S and ρ is lower than those between E F, E L and E S. [目的]通过对比研究,明确晚霜冻害对苹果树生长季水分利用能力影响的程度与机理。[方法]利用热扩散技术(TDP)对黄土区苹果树未发生霜冻年和霜冻年主要生长季边材液流速率(J_s)开展连续监测,并同步观测净辐射(R_n)、气温(T_a)等气象因子,计算大气水分亏缺(VPD)等变量。通过对比、相关分析阐明晚霜冻害对苹果树水分利用能力的影响。[结果]霜冻发生后,当日午间液流速率最大值(J_(s-max))比霜冻前数日内的最大值降低9%~27%,苹果树水分利用能力(J_(s-max)/VPD)在霜冻后的数日内连续下降。霜冻后当年(2018)生长季平均液流速率比未发生霜冻年(2017)同期下降35%。在整个生长季内,液流速率日平均值(J_(s-mean))与R_n、VPD均具有显著的指数关系,但在相同的R_n或VPD水平下,霜冻年的J_(s-mean)显著低于未发生霜冻年。[结论]严重低温霜冻和霜冻后快速升温共同导致了苹果树生长季水分利用能力的显著下降。研究结果为认识霜冻对苹果树水分生理的影响机制提供了理论支撑。  相似文献

In order to make clear the relationships between photosynthesis and leaf N, leaf P and SLA of tropical trees, and test the differences in the relationships among life-form groups (trees, shrub-like trees and shrubs), seedlings and saplings of 101 species from a tropical montane rain forest, located in the Diaoluo Mountain of Hainan Island, were selected. The net photosynthesis based on area and mass (A area and A mass), leaf nitrogen content based on area and mass (N area and N mass), leaf phosphorus content based on area and mass (P area and P mass) and specific leaf area (SLA) were measured and/or calculated. The results showed that A area and A mass tended to follow the order of shrubs > trees > shrub-like trees. One-way ANOVA showed that the difference in A area between shrubs and shrub-like trees was significant (p<0.05), and for A mass there were significant differences between shrubs and shrub-like trees and between shrubs and tree species (p<0.05). The relationships between A area and N mass were highly significant in all three life-form groups and for all species (p<0.0001). The correlation between A area and P mass was highly significant in shrubs (p = 0.0038), shrub-like trees (p < 0.0002) and for all species (p<0.0001), but not significant in trees (p>0.05). The relationship between A area and SLAwas highly significant in shrubs (p = 0.0006), trees (p<0.0001) and for all species (p<0.0001), however this relation was not significant in shrub-like trees (p>0.05). The relationships between A mass and leaf N and SLA were highly significant in all three life-form groups and for all species (p<0.0001). For A mass and leaf P, there were significant correlations in tree groups (p = 0.0377) and highly significant correlations in shrub groups (p = 0.0004), shrub-like tree groups (p = 0.0018) and for all species (p < 0.0001). Stepwise regression showed that predicted A mass values were closer to the observed values than those for predicted A area values. From methanolic extracts of leaves of kyaraboku, Taxus cuspidata var. nana, phenylisoserine methyl ester (3) was isolated along with taxinine (1), taxol (2), sciadopitysin (4), ginkgetin (5), isorhamnetin (6), and quercetin (7). This is the first time that phenylisoserine methyl ester has been isolated from T. cuspidata var. nana. Compound 3 was also isolated from the ethanolic extracts of leaves of T. cuspidata var. nana. Furthermore, compound 3 was identified in methanolic extracts from the bark of this tree.  相似文献

The four main morphotypes of Holm oak (Quercus ilex subsp. ballota) present in Andalusia (expansa, macrocarpa, microcarpa and rotundifolia) were infected with Phytophthora cinnamomi to determine their susceptibility to the root pathogen. No large differences were found among the four morphotypes in the infection of roots, which always showed a high degree of necrosis. However, the different responses of the foliage to infection separated the four morphotypes of Holm oak into three groups: very susceptible (microcarpa), susceptible (expansa) and moderately susceptible (rotundifolia and macrocarpa). The natural hybrid Q. ilex ballotaQ. faginea exhibited a low level of root and foliar symptoms when infected with P. cinnamomi. Quercus faginea could be considered as a source of resistance to P. cinnamomi in future breeding programmes.  相似文献

We surveyed the germination number (N cs) of 2-year and a 1-year survival of Abies sachalinensis and Picea jezoensis seedlings and saplings on 29 fallen logs from 2004 to 2005 in a natural coniferous forest in Hokkaido, northern Japan, in relation to the surface and light conditions of fallen logs. Moss height (H moss), log hardness (Hardness), and the area of fallen log (Area) were measured as the surface conditions by each 1-m block from bottom to top of all fallen logs. The relative photosynthetic photon flux density (rPPFD) 10 cm above the tallest seedling in each block was measured as the light condition. In addition, the height of the tallest seedling or sapling in each block (H max), the difference between a height of each seedling and sapling and the H max (Shading), and a height of seedlings and saplings in 2004 (H ini) were considered. N cs of A. sachalinensis was affected by Hardness and Area, whereas N cs of P. jezoensis was affected by H moss, Hardness, Area, H max, and rPPFD. The survival of seedlings (height < 5 cm) and saplings (5 cm ≤ height < 50 cm) were affected by H ini, rPPFD, and shading for both species. However, the survival of P. jezoensis saplings was more sensitive to decrease in rPPFD and increase of shading than that of A. sachalinensis. Therefore, seedling emergence was influenced by surface conditions, whereas survival was affected by light conditions. Furthermore, P. jezoensis emergence and survival were more sensitive to surface and light conditions than that of A. sachalinensis.  相似文献

Granier’s probes were applied to measure the sap flow of 14 sample trees in an Acacia mangium forest on the hilly lands in Heshan City, Guangdong, during the time period of October, 2003. The photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), air relative humidity (RH) and temperature of air (T) above the forest canopy were recorded. The sap flow measurement was used in combination with morphological characteristics of tree and forest structure to calculate the whole-tree transpiration (E), stand transpiration (E t), and mean canopy stomatal conductance (g c). Analyses on the relationships between tree morphological characters and whole-tree water use, and on the responses of g c to PAR and vapor pressure deficit (D) were conducted. The results showed that whole-tree transpiration correlated significantly and positively with tree diameter at breast height (DBH) (p<0.0001), with sapwood area (p<0.0001), and with canopy size (p = 0.0007) logarithmically, but exponentially with tree height (p = 0.014). The analyses on the responses of canopy stomatal conductance showed that the maximum g c (g cmax) changed with PAR in a hyperbolic curve (p<0.0001) and with D in a logarithmic one (p<0.0001). Biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) colonization and AM fungal spores were studied in the roots and rhizosphere soils of Acacia catechu (L.f). Wild., A. mangium Willd, Anthocephala cadamba Miq., Artocarpus chaplasha Roxb., Chickrassia tabularis A. Juss., Swietenia macrophylla King., Tectona grandis L. from plantations; Albizia procera (Roxb.) Benth., A. falcataria L., Alstonia scholaris (L.) R. Br., Aphanamixis polystachya (Wall.) Parker., Hydnocarpus kurzii (King.) Warb., Heynea trijuga Roxb., Lagerstroemia speciosa (L.) Pers., Messua ferrea Linn., Podocarpus nerifolia Don., Swintonia floribunda Griff., Syzygium fruticosum (Roxb.) DC., S. grandis (Wt.) Wal. from forest and nursery seedlings of A. polystachya, A. chaplasha, Gmelina arborea Roxb. and S. cuminii (L.) Skeels from Hazarikhil forest, Chittagong of Bangladesh. Roots were stained in aniline blue and rhizosphere soils were assessed by wet sieving and decanting methods. The range of AM colonization varied significantly from 10%-73% in the plantations samples. Maximum colonization was observed in A. mangium (73%) and minimum colonization was observed in C. tabularis (10%). Vesicular colonization was recorded 15%-67% in five plantation tree species. The highest was in A. cadamba (67%) and the lowest was in T. grandis; A. chaplasha and C. tabularis showed no vesicular colonization. Arbuscular colonization was recorded 12%-60% in four plantation tree species. The highest was in A. mangium (60%) and the lowest was in A. cadamba. Roots of Artocarpus chaplasha, C. tabularis and T. grandis showed no arbuscular colonization. Among 12 forest tree species, nine tree species showed AM colonization. The highest was in A. falcataria (62%) and the lowest was in S. fruticosum (10%). Significant variation in vesicular colonization was recorded in seven forest tree species. The highest was in H. trijuga (52%) and the lowest was in L. speciosa (18%). Hydnocarpus kurzii, M. ferrea, P. nerifolia S. fruticosum and S. grandis showed no vesicular colonization. Arbuscular colonization was recorded in seven forest tree species. The highest was in A. falcataria (60%) and the lowest was in A. procera (10%). All the nursery seedlings showed AM colonization and the range was 10%-73%. Vesicules were recorded in G. arborea (40%) and S. cumini (40%). Arbuscular colonization was recorded in G. arborea (100%) and S. cumini (100%). Spore population was recorded 77-432/100 g dry soils, 80-276/100 g dry soils, and 75-153/100g dry soils in plantation, forest and nursery, respectively. Glomus and Acaulospora were dominant genera among the six AM fungi recorded. Significantly positive correlation was observed between AM colonization and AM fungal spore population in Hazarikhil plantation tree species, forest tree species and nursery tree seedlings. The present study showed the biodiversity of root colonization and AM fungi are active in nutrient cycling, survivals and seedling establishment of the plants in the Hazarikhil forest, plantation and nursery.  相似文献

Interactions between three species of bacteria (Burkholderia cepacia, Pseudomonas chlororaphis and Pseudomonas fluorescens), an ectomycorrhizal fungus (Paxillus involutus), and three root pathogenic fungi (Fusarium moniliforme, Fusarium oxysporum and Rhizoctonia solani) were studied. Burkholderia cepacia significantly reduced the in vitro mycelial growth of P. involutus, whereas, B. cepacia, Ps. chlororaphis, Ps. fluorescens and P. involutus reduced the mycelial growth of F. moniliforme, F. oxysporum and R. solani. Culture filtrates of B. cepacia, Ps. chlororaphis, Ps. fluorescens and P. involutus reduced conidial germination and increased the formation of chlamydospores of F. moniliforme and F. oxysporum. Burkholderia cepacia also reduced the formation of ectomycorrhizal short roots by P. involutus on lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) and white spruce (Picea glauca) seedlings 2 months after inoculation. However, no significance difference in mycorrhizal short roots was observed after 4 months. The fungicide Anchor (a mixture of carboxine and thiram) significantly reduced root rot severity and increased the survival of lodgepole pine seedlings grown in a growth mix infested with F. moniliforme, F. oxysporum and R. solani. Control of the diseases of white spruce caused by these pathogens was not as successful. Treatment of seeds with either B. cepacia or P. involutus alone significantly increased the survival of seedlings grown in a mix that was inoculated with F. moniliforme and reduced the root rot severity caused by F. moniliforme and F. oxysporum, but not R. solani. Higher seedling survival and lower root rot severity were observed when conifer seeds were concomitantly inoculated with one of the bacterial species, P. involutus and Anchor.  相似文献

Summary Thirty‐one fungi, members of Ascomycota and Deuteromycota, were isolated from cones/seeds of 28 hosts (Pinus spp.) originating from East Asia, Europe and North America, and growing at the Montreal Botanical Garden, Canada. A total of 21 taxa of these isolated fungi are considered pathogens. The damage severity was most prevalent on Diploxylon pines of European provenance (Pinus nigra, Pinus mugo and Pinus sylvestris), and one indigenous North American species (Pinus albicaulis). Twelve fungi occurred on different hosts, i.e. Sphaeropsis sapinea (12), Herpotrichia juniperi (8), Truncatella hartigii (7), Ceuthospora sp. (5), Fusarium, spp. (5), Pestalotiopsis funerea (3), Phomopsis sp. (3), Valsa spp. (anamorph. Cytospora) (3), Diaporthe sp. (3), Fusicoccum sp. (2) and Sirococcus strobilinus (2). Sphaeropsis sapinea, Herpotrichia juniperi, Phomopsis conorum, Truncatella hartigii, Tubercularia sp. and Valsa spp. were related to high cone and seed damage. For the most frequently observed Sphaeropsis sapinea damage, the subgenus Haploxylon was less susceptible than Diploxylon, and P. sylvestris less than P. nigra and P. mugo. Pinus resinosa showed more tolerance to S. sapinea. Truncatella hartigii was more frequently associated with necrotic lesions on cones/seeds in comparison with Pestalotiopsis funerea. The results are discussed in the context of arboretum, seed orchard, nursery and quarantine management.  相似文献

Acacia melanoxylon R. Br. (Blackwood) is a native Australian species that has invaded woodlands and degraded natural habitats in the north western Iberian Peninsula (Galicia), Spain. Several phenolic (p-hydroxybenzoic, vanillic, p-coumaric, syringic, protocatequic, ferulic acids) and flavonoids (catechin, luteolin, rutin, apigenin, and quercetin) were identified from methanol extracts of flowers and phyllodes of A. melanoxylon by HPLC. Flowers and phyllodes of A. melanoxylon were soaked separately in the water in a ratio of 1:1 (w/v) for 24 h to prepare aqueous extracts (100, 75, 50 and 25%) and distilled water was used as control. The seeds of three native plants, cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata), perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne), common sorrel (Rumex acetosa) and a general test crop lettuce (Lactuca sativa) were grown in perlite culture and aqueous extracts of A. melanoxylon (flowers and phyllodes) were applied exogenously at various concentrations. A. melanoxylon flowers extract (100%) inhibited the shoot length of D. glomerata and L. perenne by 31 and 20% of the control, respectively. Leaf and root fresh weights of L. perenne, D. glomerata, and L. sativa were reduced after treatment with acacia flowers and phyllodes extract. Leaf relative water content of D. glomerata and L. perenne was reduced by acacia flowers and phyllodes extract at all concentrations. Both extracts reduced leaf osmotic potential in D. glomerata, L. perenne and L. sativa. Quantum efficiency of open PSII reaction centers (Fv/Fm) and quantum yield (ΦPSII) of photosystem II were decreased in L. perenne, D. glomerata; R. acetosa and L. sativa after treatment with acacia flowers/phyllodes extract at 100% concentration. Acacia flowers and phyllodes extract (100%) inhibited the qP level during all 6 days in D. glomerata, L. perenne, R. acetosa and L. sativa. A significant reduction in NPQ was observed during different days in all four plant species due to Acacia flowers and phyllodes extract (100%). The δ13C ratios were less negative in L. perenne, D. glomerata and L. sativa as compared to the control. A. melanoxylon flowers and phyllodes extract (100%) significantly reduced leaf protein contents in D. glomerata, L. perenne and in L. sativa.  相似文献

Antifungal activities of seven compounds, taxinine (1), paclitaxel (2), phenylisoserine methyl ester (3), sciadopitysin (4), ginkgetin (5), isorhamnetin (6), and quercetin (7), isolated from the leaves of kyaraboku, Taxus cuspidata var. nana, against five plant pathogenic fungi, Gibberella fujikuroi, Cladosporium cucumeninum, Fusarium oxysporum, Colletotrichum fragariae, and Corynespora cassiicola, were investigated for utilization of extractives from trees of the genus Taxus. Also, the amounts of compounds 2 and 3 on the leaf surface was measured in relation to the antifungal activities of compounds. Taxinine (1) showed antifungal activity against G. fujikuroi, C. cucumeninum, F. oxysporum, and C. cassiicola. The minimum inhibitory concentration of taxinine for the four fungi was 0.4mol. In addition, from the results of antifungal tests, it may be concluded that paclitaxel on the leaves and stem of T. cuspidata var. nana does not play an important role as an antifungicide in the resistance of trees to plant pathogenic fungal attack.  相似文献

Early growth of some woody shrubs used in alley cropping were studied in the Buberuka Highland and Central Plateau region of Rwanda. The altitudinal ranges for the two agroecological zones are 1800–2400 m and 1500–1900 m respectively. First, early growth of Sesbania sesban (Sesbania) as affected by intercropped bean, potato, pea and wheat was studied. Second, effect of lime and manure applications on growth of Sesbania, Leucaena sp (Leucaena), Calliandra Calothyrsus (Calliandra) and Markhamia lutea (Markhamia) was investigated. Third, growth of Sesbania and Leucaena at selected locations were examined. Bean grown in association with Sesbania enhanced the growth of the shrub in the Central Plateau region. At both sites, growth of Sesbania was retarded by intercropped pea. Growth of Sesbania increased significantly during the dry season in June and July. Biomass and height after one years' growth of Sesbania were higher in the Buberuka than in the Central Plateau region. Growth of the shrubs is ranked as: sesbania > Leucaena > Calliandra > Markhamia in the Buberuka Highlands. Farmyard manure generally increased the growth rates of the shrubs. Calliandra and Leucaena were most responsive to liming. The response of Leucaena to liming decreased with manure application but no definite trend was observed for Calliandra, Sesbania and Markhamia. Sesbania and Markhamia were least influenced by application of lime. Their respective LRI's were 0.35 and 0.46. 将实测的杨树液流速率和林木边材厚度(或胸径)经尺度扩展得到林分蒸腾,已成为常用的野外测定方法,但此法没有考虑其他树形因子的影响,当林分密度大、光竞争激烈时,会导致蒸腾估计误差偏大。为认识主要树形因子对液流速率的影响,并为改进样树液流向林分蒸腾的尺度扩展方法提供依据,在六盘山北侧半干旱区华北落叶松人工林内,利用热扩散探针对5株不同优势度样树的液流速率进行了连续观测,研究了生长季中期(叶面积指数达到峰值并保持稳定)不同土壤水分条件下不同优势度树木的液流速率差异。结果表明:优势度越大的树木,其液流在日内的启动越早,结束越晚,到达峰值越早,峰值也越大;日均液流速率明显比优势度小的树木高;液流速率对太阳辐射和饱和水汽压差瞬时变化的响应敏感性比优势度小的树木高,而对土壤水分条件的响应敏感性则弱于后者,但整体上对环境条件的响应趋势一致,不同优势度树木间液流速率的相对差异比较稳定。相关分析表明:液流速率与优势度(或相对树高)、树高呈极显著正相关,与冠长、胸径显著正相关,而与冠幅、边材面积正相关但不显著。利用拟合的优势度与液流速率之间的线性关系(R2=0.95)计算了样地内所有树木的液流速率及其平均值,即林分平均液流速率,该值比常用方法计算结果低16%。建议今后在利用样树液流速率测定结果进行尺度扩展计算林分液流速率和蒸腾时,增加考虑优势度等主要树形因子的影响。  相似文献

A general regression model for large areas may have poor statistical properties for smaller sub-regions. In this study, we test the local indicators of spatial association (LISA) in the selection of localization areas of a general regression model. We present four different LISAs: Moran’s I i , Geary’s c i , G i , and G i *. These indices show if there is a cluster of similar values in the data (Moran’s I i and Geary’s c i ) or if there is a cluster of positive or negative values (G i and G i *). The material is NFI9 (9th National Forest Inventory) sample tree (Pinus sylvestris) data from Southern Finland. LISAs were calculated from the residuals of a form height regression model, which was fitted to the original data. We detected statistically significant clustering of similar values with both global indices Moran’s I and Geary’s c. This means that local indices may show statistically significant clustering of similar values only because the surrounding of an observation happens to have high values. Therefore we use G i *-index in selection of sub-areas. We tested the localization in three sub-areas: (1) one where the G i *-index was positive, (2) one where the index was negative, and (3) one where the index was both positive and negative and zero. In particular, localization removed the local bias of the global model. The effect of localization on variances was minor. The effect of localization on residuals in Areas 1 and 2 correspond to a level correction of the global model. The G i *-index (and G i -index) seem to be useful for selecting localization areas, even though there is still need for future studies.  相似文献

The cultivation of hybrid poplar in the Pacific North-west (PNW) has expanded in the last 15 years. Native Populus trichocarpa is susceptible to many pests and fungal pathogens but its interspecific hybrids were largely disease-free until 1991 when Melampsora medusae f. sp. deltoidae first appeared in the region. Genetic analyses of resistance in the PNW, and elsewhere, reveal a pattern whereby genes for resistance are inherited in interspecific hybrids from the exotic, noncoevolved Populus parent. With some pathogen/poplar hybrid combinations, this resistance segregates in the F1 generation, but with others, only in the F2. Such exapted resistance is now known to occur in P. trichocarpa (versus the exotic, eastern North American rust species, M. medusae f. sp. deltoidae), in Populus deltoides (versus the Eurasian rust, Melampsora larici-populina, the PNW population of Septoria populicola, and an undescribed PNW eriophyid mite), and in Populus maximowiczii (versus Melampsora occidentalis, and the PNW populations of Venturia populina, S. populicola, and Linospora tetraspora).  相似文献

[目的]探讨竹林与其林下植被凋落物叶之间相互影响的潜在机制,为合理经营管理毛竹林林下植被提供理论参考。[方法]采用原位分解袋法研究了四川长宁毛竹与林下植被芒箕凋落物叶分解和养分释放过程。[结果](1)芒箕凋落物叶初始C、N、P含量和羟基碳高于毛竹(P 0. 05),而C∶N、C∶P、烷基碳、氧烷基碳和芳香碳低于毛竹(P 0. 05)。(2)凋落物叶分解和养分释放速率芒箕整体高于毛竹,芒箕和毛竹分解常数(k)分别为0. 58±0. 03和0. 73±0. 02,C、N、P养分释放均表现为净释放。(3)凋落物叶混合对分解速率没有显著影响,但抑制了N、P元素整个分解周期和C元素中后期的释放。(4)凋落物叶分解过程中元素含量变化格局表现为C含量和C∶N比整体呈下降趋势,N含量和N∶P比有小幅上升,P含量有微弱的下降趋势,C∶P比呈波动性变化。(5)凋落物叶分解速率与土壤温度、初始凋落物叶N和P含量呈显著正相关(P 0. 01),与初始凋落物叶的C∶N和C∶P呈极显著负相关(P 0. 01),与土壤含水量相关不显著。[结论]单独分解过程中,毛竹凋落物叶分解速率低于林下植被芒箕,养分释放特征均表现为直接释放;混合分解过程中,毛竹和芒箕凋落物叶分解速率无显著混和效应,但养分释放的混合效应表现出一定负效应和不同阶段性。  相似文献

The radial trends of vibrational properties, represented by the specific dynamic modulus (E′/ρ) and damping coefficient (tan δ), were investigated for three tropical rainforest hardwood species (Simarouba amara, Carapa procera, and Symphonia globulifera) using free-free flexural vibration tests. The microfibril angle (MFA) was estimated using X-ray diffraction. Consistent patterns of radial variations were observed for all studied properties. E′/ρ was found to decrease from pith to bark, which was strongly related to the increasing pith-bark trend of MFA. The variation of tan δ along the radius could be partly explained by MFA and partly by the gradient of extractives due to heartwood formation. The coupling effect of MFA and extractives could be separated through analysis of the log(tan δ) versus log(E′/ρ) diagram. For the species studied, the extractive content putatively associated with heartwood formation generally tends to decrease the wood damping coefficient. However, this weakening effect of extractives was not observed for the inner part of the heartwood, suggesting that the mechanical action of extractives was reduced during their chemical ageing.  相似文献

Tree biomass plays a key role in sustainable management by providing different aspects of ecosystem. Estimation of above ground biomass by non-destructive means requires the development of allometric equations. Most researchers used DBH (diameter at breast height) and TH (total height) to develop allometric equation for a tree. Very few species-specific allometric equations are currently available for shrubs to estimate of biomass from measured plant attributes. Therefore, we used some of readily measurable variables to develop allometric equations such as girth at collar-height (GCH) and height of girth measuring point (GMH) with total height (TH) for A. rotundifolia, a mangrove species of Sundarbans of Bangladesh, as it is too dwarf to take DBH and too irregular in base to take Girth at a fixed height. Linear, non-linear and logarithmic regression techniques were tried to determine the best regression model to estimate the above-ground biomass of stem, branch and leaf. A total of 186 regression equations were generated from the combination of independent variables. Best fit regression equations were determined by examining co-efficient of determination (R2), co-efficient of variation (CV), mean-square of the error (MSerror), residual mean error (Rsme), and F-value. Multiple linear regression models showed more efficient over other types of regression equation. The performance of regression equations was increased by inclusion of GMH as an independent variable along with total height and GCH.  相似文献
