Field experiments were conducted over 2 years using six rice (Oryza Sativa L.) cultivars to investigate the effect of two planting methods, transplanting (TP) and direct sowing (DS), on grain quality and nutrient utilization. Brown and head rice percentages, grain width, amylase, and protein content were greater in TP than in DS, whereas the opposite effect was found for chalkiness rate, gel consistency, and alkali spread value (ASV). Dramatic differences were also found between the two planting methods for nutrient harvest index and utilization efficiency, with TP having greater phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) harvest indexes, nitrogen (N) and K utilization efficiencies, and lower N harvest index and P utilization efficiency than DS. Moreover, significant differences between these genotypes could be found for both nutrient harvest index and utilization efficiency. The correlation analysis showed that rice chalkiness, transparency, gel consistency, amylose, and protein contents were all significantly correlated with N, P, and K nutrient traits. In addition, significant interactions between rice cultivar and planting methods for both rice quality and nutrient traits were also found.  相似文献

【目的】分析马铃薯品种(系)产量和品质在不同栽培条件下与养分吸收及利用的关系,为马铃薯科学施肥提供理论基础。【方法】在宁夏固原和甘肃定西开展马铃薯品种(系)田间试验,宁夏收集了76份品种(系),甘肃收集了83份,马铃薯试验均采用当地水肥管理技术。成熟期测定产量及产量构成因素,取样分析马铃薯品质和氮磷钾养分含量,以及土壤有机质和速效养分含量。【结果】两地马铃薯块茎产量差异不显著。将马铃薯产量分为<30 t/hm2 (低)、30~45 t/hm2 (中)和>45 t/hm2 (高) 3个等级,宁夏种植的76个品种(系)中低产、中产、高产的占比分别为27.6%、34.2%、38.2%,甘肃种植的83个品种(系)中的占比分别为15.7%、49.4%、34.9%。随着不同马铃薯品种(系)产量的不断增加,干物质和淀粉含量呈现增加趋势,而蛋白质含量则呈现降低趋势。无论产量水平高低,每生产1 t马铃薯块茎需吸收N 2.9 kg、P 0.5 kg、K 4.0 kg。产量与氮磷钾养分吸收量呈显著正相关,维生素C和蛋白质含量与氮磷...  相似文献

Three rice (Oryza sativa L.) varieties viz. ‘CR 683‘, ‘Budumoni’ “Budumoni”, and ‘Akisali’ were grown in sand culture in a greenhouse with three levels of iron (Fe) in nutrient solutions viz., 0.045 (control), 5.34, and 7.12 mM Fe to study the effects of iron on physiology of rice seedling growth. Shoot length, root, and shoot dry weights were reduced significantly by higher levels of Fe in the medium. Results of leaf bronzing have revealed higher bronzing score in the seedlings grown at 7.12 mM Fe in the growth medium. Occurrence of bronzing was severe in varieties ‘CR683’ and ‘Akisali’. Variety ‘Budumoni'maintained higher leaf chlorophyll content, nitrate reductase activity and total soluble protein in the leaves at 5.34 and 7.12 mM Fe. Higher concentration of iron in the nutrient medium exerted an inhibiting effect on the concentration and content of almost all the macro and micronutrients in the root and shoot. Higher Fe and nitrogen (N) contents and lower phosphorus (P), potassium (K), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), and zinc (Zn) were determined in roots and shoots in plants grown in medium supplied with 7.12 mM Fe. The variety ‘Budumoni’ “Budumoni” performed relatively better in comparison to other tested varieties at 7.12 mM Fe in the growth medium. ‘Budumoni’ “Budumoni” can be considered a suitable rice variety to use in the rice-breeding programme for Fe toxicity tolerance in acid soils of Assam.  相似文献

Abstract

Significant varietal differences in plant nutrient content have been reported in the literature which would make extremely difficult the interpretation of plant analysis results for diagnosing plant nutritional problems. This investigation was conducted to analyze a relatively large number of uniformly fertilized commercially grown corn (Zea mays) varieties for possible differences in N, P, K, Ca, and Mg concentrations. Whole young plants 60 to 90 cm tall and ear leaves collected at tassel ling were chemically analyzed.

Varietal differences in the concentrations of N, P, K, and Ca in field corn were statistically significant. Varietal differences in Mg concentrations were significant in three out of the six sets of data.

In spite of statistical significance, plant nutrient concentrations were found to be within expected limits for the morphological parts and growth stages examined except for ear leaf P levels in two varieties. These varieties (P.A.G. SX 29 and Pioneer 3304) apparently were capable of accumulating high levels of P, but only when ear leaf P concentrations were generally high for all varieties indicating excessive soil P levels.

The majority of corn varieties tested contained relatively uniform nutrient levels and were not significantly different from one another. The usual bell‐shaped frequency distribution curves indicated normal distributions of plant nutrient contents. Varietal differences in nutrient concentrations were generally not found to be large enough to interfere with interpretation of plant analysis results (except possibly for P accumulation in the two varieties mentioned above). But, there was no indication that critical phosphorus levels were higher in P accumulating varieties than in other varieties.  相似文献

集约化畜禽养殖场沼气工程是一项提供清洁能源、减轻环境污染、潜力巨大的生物质能源工程。该研究采集了江苏省21个规模化养猪场和奶牛场内大型沼气工程的沼液样本,进行了氮磷钾等理化特性分析。结果表明,由厌氧反应罐排出的沼液呈中性至微碱性,还原能力较强。猪场和奶牛场沼液中总氮分别集中在400~900 mg/L和200~400 mg/L范围内,其中铵态氮占总氮量的70%以上;总磷分别集中在30~100 mg/L和300 mg/L以上,可溶性磷含量变异较大;总钾分别集中在100~500 mg/L和500 mg/L以上。沼气工程运行时间对沼液理化性状影响显著,运行时间越长系统稳定性越好。氧化塘对沼液中颗粒物、氮素和磷素有显著的削减作用,多级氧化塘处理效果更明显。  相似文献

Tef, Eragrostis tef (Zucc.) Trotter, is a cereal crop originated and diversified in Ethiopia, where it is used to produce a range of food products. This study aimed to profile and quantify the phenolic composition and antioxidant potential of seven tef grain varieties. Soluble and bound phenolics ranged from 37 to 71 and from 226 to 376 mg of gallic acid equivalent/100 g dry basis (db), and soluble and bound flavonoid contents varied between 36 and 64 and between 113 and 258 mg of catechin equivalent/100 g db, respectively. Protocatechuic, vanillic, syringic, p‐coumaric, sinapic, ferulic, and rosmarinic acids, catechin, and naringenin were detected at least in three of the varieties studied. The dominant phenolic compounds were catechin, rosmarinic acid, and ferulic acid in the soluble extracts, whereas ferulic, rosmarinic, and p‐coumaric acids were the dominant ones in the bound extract. Gallic, caffeic, and salicylic acids were not detected in any of the varieties studied. The majority (>84%) of tef grain phenolics were found in bound form, contributing >84% of total 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl antioxidative capacity and >80% of total ferric reducing antioxidant power. These results clearly demonstrated the differences in phenolic profile among tef grain varieties. These results are relevant for developing healthy and nutritious tef‐based food products.  相似文献

Root exudates play a major role in the mobilization of sparingly soluble nutrients in the rhizosphere. Since the amount and composition of major metabolites in root exudates from one plant species have not yet been systematically compared under different nutrient deficiencies, relations between exudation patterns and the type of nutrient being deficient remain poorly understood. Comparing root exudates from axenically grown maize plants exposed to N, K, P, or Fe deficiency showed a higher release of glutamate, glucose, ribitol, and citrate from Fe‐deficient plants, while P deficiency stimulated the release of γ‐aminobutyric acid and carbohydrates. Potassium‐starved plants released less sugars, in particular glycerol, ribitol, fructose, and maltose, while under N deficiency lower amounts of amino acids were found in root exudates. Principal‐component analysis revealed a clear separation in the variation of the root‐exudate composition between Fe or P deficiency versus N or K deficiency in the first principal component, which explained 46% of the variation in the data. In addition, a negative correlation was found between the amounts of sugars, organic and amino acids released under deficiency of a certain nutrient and the diffusion coefficient of the respective nutrient in soils. We thus hypothesize that the release of dominant root exudates such as sugars, amino acids, and organic acids by roots may reflect an ancient strategy to cope with limiting nutrient supply.  相似文献

Evaluation of nutrient accumulation trends in fruit during fruit development and nutrient status in the leaves are important components defining nutrient requirements. Such nutrient demand should be met by nutrient supply in order to develop optimal rate and timing of fertilizer application. In a 3‐year study the citrus (orange) varieties, ‘Valencia’, ‘Parson Brown’, ‘Hamlin’, and ‘Sunburst’ were fertilized with either 168, 224, or 280 kg N ha‐1 yr‐1 as a broadcast application of N:P:K dry soluble granular fertilizer. These rates did not significantly affect the fruit nutrient status, juice quality, or nutrients concentrations in the spring flush. The concentrations of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg) in the fruit decreased with their enlargement during June through November. However, micronutrient concentrations in the fruits increased from June through August or September and then decreased. Fruit dry weight was greatest in ‘Valencia’ followed by ‘Hamlin’, ‘Parson Brown’, and ‘Sunburst’ varieties. Soluble solids concentration (SSC) were higher in ‘Valencia’ and ‘Sunburst’ fruit than in the other two varieties. Other juice quality parameters were not significantly different among the varieties. This study indicated non‐significant influence of fertilizer rates on concentrations of various mineral elements in 6‐month‐old spring flush with most of those concentrations within the optimal ranges.  相似文献

The paradigm of sustainable forest management was initially aimed to ensure continuous wood supply but has gradually been extended for many functions and services of forest ecosystems, including the aspect of nutrient sustainability. The current tendency towards harvesting all year round and whole‐tree export for energy purposes raised the question of how the input : output balance of nutrients depends on site conditions, tree species, and harvest intensity. Possible differences in nutrient export between harvesting in autumn and summer have been more or less neglected. Based on compartment‐wise analyses of biomass and nutrient (Ca, K, Mg, and P) concentrations of adult European beeches (Fagus sylvatica [L.]), nine compartments were sampled in summer and nine in autumn. We found, for the majority of the compartments (especially in branch wood), increased levels of nutrient concentrations: 81% (Ca), 54% (K), 90% (Mg), and 96% (P) in autumn compared to summer. Upscaling our results to stand level revealed up to 10.0% and 1.6% less mineral nutrient exports of Ca and Mg, respectively, for whole‐tree harvest in forest stands when carried out in summer instead of autumn. Nutrient removal was increased by 0.8% and by 13.0% for K and P, respectively, in summer. Despite lower nutrient export, many ecological, logistic, and technical reasons discourage harvesting in summer. Our findings, however, deliver an additional yet so far missing mosaic piece for a better understanding and assessment of the frame conditions for sustainable nutrient management in beech forests.  相似文献

为创新高营养糯稻品种,采用250 Gy60Co-γ射线诱变处理宁粳3号种子,结合组织培养技术,选育出留胚率高达80%以上的优质高产抗病糯稻突变体原胚糯;同时,对原胚糯留胚米、宁粳3号糙米和精米进行蛋白质、矿物质、氨基酸等营养成分的测定,并对三者进行比较分析。结果表明,原胚糯留胚米蛋白质含量达8.25%,主要矿物质K、Ca、Mg、Na、Gu、Zn、Fe含量分别为898.41、107.55、95.13、21.39、1.11、12.12、10.51 mg·kg~(-1),17种氨基酸总含量达117.2 g·kg~(-1),人体必需氨基酸含量达39.6g·kg~(-1),均显著高于宁粳3号精米,具有与宁粳3号糙米相当的营养价值。本研究结果为进一步开发和利用原胚糯奠定了基础。  相似文献

Potassium (K) deficiency in soil restricts the production of sugarcane in major planting areas. To investigate the responses of sugarcane varieties to K-deficiency stress, the growth, root parameters, and nutrient-use efficiency of sugarcane varieties were compared using sand cultures. K deficiency inhibited the growth of sugarcane. Two hybrid sugarcane varieties, namely YC10–29 and YC10–65, exhibited greater tolerance to K-deficiency stress. The weight, length, surface area, and volume of root showed 30.49%, 15.91%, 20.02%, and 24.26% reductions, respectively, in ROC22 under K-deficiency stress, but increased in the other five varieties. YC10–65 accumulated 2.03 times more nitrogen (N) in the roots than did the plants under normal conditions. Significant increases for N and phosphorous (P) utilization efficiencies were detected in YC10–65 under K-deficiency stress. Correlations between nutrient efficiency and root morphology revealed that modifications to root morphology in response to K deficiency may help improve the nutrient efficiency and the K-deficiency tolerance of sugarcane.  相似文献

Efficient separation and accurate quantification of sphingolipids (SL) are important for studying SL concentrations and biological functions. The objectives of this study were to develop effective methods for the separation and quantification of SL and to determine the relationship between palmitate and SL contents of mature soybean seeds. Methods using column chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography-evaporative light scattering detector (HPLC-ELSD) were developed to separate and quantify glucosylceramide (GlcCer) and ceramide (Cer) in 15 soybeans lines in which palmitate content ranged from 3.7 to 40.7%. There were significant differences among the lines for GlcCer (83.4-397.6 nmol/g) and major Cer contents (8.4-20.7 nmol/g) on a dry weight basis. The correlations of palmitate content with GlcCer and Cer concentrations were not significant. The results indicated that the palmitate content of soybean seed did not affect their GlcCer and Cer contents. Genetic factors other than those that control palmitate content seemed to be responsible for the variation among soybean lines for GlcCer and Cer contents.  相似文献

The objective of this research was to investigate the fermentation performance of waxy grain sorghum for ethanol production. Twenty‐five waxy grain sorghum varieties were evaluated with a laboratory dry‐grind procedure. Total starch and amylose contents were measured following colorimetric procedures. Total starch and amylose contents ranged from 65.4 to 76.3% and from 5.5 to 7.3%, respectively. Fermentation efficiencies were in the range of 86.0–92.2%, corresponding to ethanol yields of 2.61–3.03 gallons/bushel. The advantages of using waxy sorghums for ethanol production include easier gelatinization and low viscosity during liquefaction, higher starch and protein digestibility, higher free amino nitrogen (FAN) content, and shorter fermentation times. The results showed a strong linear relationship between FAN content and fermentation rate. Fermentation rate increased as FAN content increased, especially during the first 30 hr of fermentation (R2 = 0.90). Total starch content in distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) was less than 1% for all waxy varieties.  相似文献

The amount of yield and adaptation of a cultivar to a new environment is strongly related to nutrient uptake ability. The aim of this study was to compare nutrient uptake ability of 21 local and/or standard olive varieties grown under Mediterranean climatic conditions. Elemental compositions of olive leaves were determined for two consecutive years. The highest yields were obtained from ‘Gemlik’, ‘Manzanilla’, ‘Memecik’, and ‘Hojiblanca’ varieties. Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), and manganese (Mn) content of leaves were comparatively higher in the high-yielding year (2004) whereas iron (Fe) and copper (Cu) contents were lower. Nutrient uptake ability and usage efficiency of olive varieties were different. Mineral composition of leaves was variety dependent and different groups of varieties showed higher leaf concentration for each element. Therefore, it can be concluded that the variation in the nutrient uptake ability may be used as a criterion for adaptation of a variety to a new ecological environment.  相似文献

Response of cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) to fertigation as a form of nutrient delivery is unknown. The objectives of this study were to establish a balanced nutrition and to enhance agronomic nutrient use efficiency (ANUE) of cassava under fertigation. This study was conducted in the greenhouse and in the field. In both, the results showed a similar trend. There were six fertigation concentrations and three cassava varieties, selected for their duration of growth in the field. Shoot biomass of the long‐duration variety (Nalumino) was the highest, even though its dry root yield was the lowest (10.18 t ha?1) among the varieties. In contrast, the medium‐duration variety (Kampolombo) produced the highest dry root yield (20.34 t ha?1) and a lower shoot biomass. The highest root yield of the shortest‐duration variety (Mweru) was achieved at 200 mg N, 30 mg P, and 200 mg K L?1 (155.0, 23.3, 155.0 kg N, P, K ha?1), while Nalumino's was at 70 mg N, 7 mg P, and 70 mg K L?1 (54.3, 5.4, 54.3 kg N, P, K ha?1). ANUE and harvest index of these varieties declined as the fertigation concentrations increased. Additionally, the correlation between concentrations of N in the youngest fully expanded leaf (YFEL) blades and dry root yields was the lowest (R2 = 0.5488), whereas P and K were R2 = 0.7237 and R2 = 0.8006, respectively, an indication that nutrient concentrations in the leaf, especially N, cannot easily be used to predict root yield. When cassava reaches nutrient sufficiency, mainly N, its accumulation in the leaf continues without significant increase in the root yield.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Soil acidity is one of the main limitations for optimal use of land resources for better crop production. And, long-term fertilization experiments found to be helpful in increasing the nutrient supply in these acidic soils. Keeping this in view, a field experiment on rice was carried out by applying biofertilizers and enriched compost in an acidic Inceptisol of Assam over 10 successive years (2006–15) to examine its effects on nutrient availability and soil enzymatic activity. This experiment had five treatments viz. absolute control (T1), 100% recommended doses (RD) of inorganic NPK (T2), 50% RD of inorganic NP + 100% K +biofertilizers (T3), 50% RD of inorganic NP + 100% K +1 tonne enriched compost ha?1 (T4) and 25% RD of inorganic NP + 100% K +2 tonnes enriched compost ha?1 (T5) under randomized block design with four replications. After completing 10 years of experiment, it was observed that integrated use of enriched compost and biofertilizers with reduced doses of inorganic fertilizers enhanced the soil enzymatic activity as well as nutrient availability in rice grown in acidic clay loam soils of Assam. Application of biofertilizers and enriched compost had positive impact on plant accessible nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in soil as compared to inorganic fertilizers. Also soil organic matter content increased considerably by these treatment. Integrated nutrient management practice in rice had also significantly enhanced the dehydrogenase, fluorescein diacetate and phospho-monoesterase activity in soil.  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted to compare absorption of copper (Cu) from cupric chloride (CuCl2) and various types of chelated Cu in a low concentration range by cucumbers. In the first experiment, two varieties of cucumber were grown on rockwool for 40 days in a glasshouse with standard nutrient solution which contained six different concentrations of CuCl2 (0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.40, and 0.80 μmol/L). Copper deficiency symptoms were examined during the growing period, and the total nitrogen (N), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), and copper contents of young fully grown leaves were measured. There were no differences among treatments in the leaf contents of N and Mn. Copper contents increased and Zn decreased with increasing Cu levels. The content of Cu at the three low Cu treatments (including no Cu addition) were in the deficient range (48–65 μmol/kg dry matter). The zero Cu level had paler green leaves than other treatments. No differences were apparent between varieties. The second experiment was carried out under exactly the same conditions as the first, but on the basis of the results of the first experiment, Cu treatments were 0, Cu‐EDDHA at 0.4, Cu‐DTPA at 0.4, Cu‐EDTA at 0.4, Cu‐NTA at 0.4, CuCl2 at 0.4 μmo/L as Cu2+. After the experiment, the total N, Fe, Mn, Zn, and Cu contents of young, fully grown leaves were measured. There were no differences between treatments in the leaf contents of Cu except zero Cu level. They were in the range of 101–119 μmol/kg dry matter. At no Cu addition treatment, the Cu content was only 31 μmol/kg dry matter which is considered to be the deficiency level. For the other examined elements, there were no differences among the treatments and varieties. From these data it was concluded that the availability of these chelated Cu types were the same as CuCl2 under the conditions of the experiments conducted.  相似文献

通过连续3年监测上海郊区43块定位农田,比较了50种作物以及5种不同轮作模式农田的钾养分表观盈余状况及其对土壤速效钾含量的影响。结果表明:(1)不同作物农田的钾养分盈余趋势为水生蔬菜类、果树类>旱作蔬菜≥草皮>大田作物;不同轮作模式农田钾养分盈余大小表现为作物轮作>菜作轮作>草皮单作>菜菜轮作>果树单作;(2)不同作物及轮作模式农田收获时土壤速效钾含量随土层的加深而逐渐增加,钾养分盈余多的农田土壤的表层速效钾含量也高;(3)不同作物及不同轮作模式农田钾养分盈余量与收获时土壤表层(0~30 cm)的速效钾含量呈正相关,但未达显著水平。  相似文献

黄土高原生物结皮对土壤养分的表层聚集与吸附固持效应   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
  【目的】  生物结皮的广泛发育可显著影响表层土壤养分状况,在土壤养分积累和循环中发挥重要作用。通过淋溶实验和吸附试验研究其作用效果和机制。  【方法】  以黄土高原质地不同的风沙土和黄绵土为对象,分别选取有生物结皮覆盖和无结皮覆盖的地块,分析生物结皮层、结皮层下0—2、2—5和5—10 cm土层土壤的有机质、全碳、全氮、全磷含量,研究生物结皮对土壤养分含量的影响及其随土壤深度的变化规律。以Cl?、K+、Ca2+为示踪离子开展土壤淋溶实验,分析其淋出土壤的特征;淋溶实验结束后,测定包括结皮层在内的各土层离子吸附解析量。  【结果】  1) 生物结皮层 (约2 cm厚) 养分含量是无结皮土壤的0.43~10.51倍。生物结皮覆盖下0—10 cm土壤的养分含量均高于对应深度的无结皮土壤,有机质、全碳、全氮、全磷含量比无结皮土壤增加了1.4%~184.9%。2) 生物结皮层的养分含量比其下层土壤提高了38.2%~557.1%,而无结皮的表层 (0—2 cm) 土壤养分含量仅比其下层土壤提高了13.4%~213.9%,这表明生物结皮增强了土壤养分的表层聚集。3) 生物结皮覆盖土壤中添加的养分在相同条件下相较于无结皮土壤更难以淋出;除易淋溶的Cl?全部淋出外,K+和Ca2+未被全部淋出,且在生物结皮覆盖土壤中的累积淋出量比无结皮土壤低21.9%~47.4%。淋溶实验结束后结皮层的Cl?、K+、Ca2+含量均显著高于无结皮 (8.8%~340.4%) 和结皮下层土壤 (14.5%~62.7%)。4) 生物结皮显著增加了土壤对Cl?、K+、Ca2+的吸附量,其增加幅度为27.8%~118.1%,且生物结皮层对不同离子吸附能力的强弱依次为Ca2+>K+>Cl?。  【结论】  与无结皮土壤相比,生物结皮能够增加土壤养分含量并促进土壤养分的表层聚集,同时提升土壤对养分的吸附与固持能力,因而有利于退化贫瘠土壤的养分积累,在干旱和半干旱地区土壤肥力提升与生态环境改善方面发挥着至关重要的作用。  相似文献
