Leaching of nutrients in soil can change the surface and groundwater quality. The present study aimed at investigating the effects of raw and ammonium (NH4+)-enriched zeolite on nitrogen leaching and wheat yields in sandy loam and clay loam soils. The treatments were one level of nitrogen; Z0: (100 kg (N) ha?1) as urea, two levels of raw zeolite; Z1:(0.5 g kg?1 + 100 kg ha?1) and Z2: (1 g kg?1 + 100 kg ha?1), and two levels of NH4+-enriched zeolite; Z3: (0.5 g kg?1 + 80 kg ha?1) and Z4: (1 g kg?1 + 60 kg ha?1). Wheat grains were sown in pots and, after each irrigation event, the leachates were collected and their nitrate (NO3?) and NH4+ contents were determined. The grain yield and the total N in plants were measured after four months of wheat growth. The results indicated that the amounts of NH4+ and NO3? leached from the sandy loam soil were more than those from the clay loam soil in all irrigation events. The maximum and minimum concentrations of nitrogen in the drainage water for both soils were observed at control and NH4+-zeolite treatments, respectively. Total N in the plants grown in the sandy loam was higher compared to plants grown in clay loam soil. Also, nitrogen uptake by plants in control and NH4+-zeolite was higher than that of raw-zeolite treatments. The decrease in the amount of N leaching in the presence of NH4+-zeolite caused more N availability for plants and increased the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers and the plants yield.  相似文献

The research was performed to investigate the effect of zeolite and zinc on the qualitative characteristics of canola cultivars at different moisture regimes. Factorial split plot experiment was performed on the basis of the randomized complete blocks design with three replications in Karaj, Iran. The treatments were: 1) irrigation (I): complete (normal irrigation) (I1), and restricted irrigation (I2) applied at the pod formation stage, 2) zeolite (Z): 0 (Z1), and 15 t ha?1 (Z2), and 3) Zn: zinc sulfate concentrations of 0%, 0.1%, and 0.2% (Zn1, Zn2, and Zn3) on Opera, Licord, and RGS003 cultivars. The highest rate of all studied traits was obtained by applying Z2Zn2 (15 ton ha?1 zeolite and 0.1% zinc sulfate) in both irrigation regimes. Opera cultivar in normal irrigation and RGS003 cultivar in stress conditions had the highest yield and yield components, oil yield, and oil content.  相似文献

With regard to the low cation-exchange capacity and large saturated hydraulic conductivity of sandy soils, a field experiment was carried out in 2006–2007 to determine the impact of zeolite on nitrogen leaching and canola production. Four nitrogen (N) rates (0, 90, 180, and 270 kg ha–1) and three zeolite amounts (3, 6 and 9 t ha?1) were included as treatments. The results demonstrated that the highest growth parameters and seed yield were attained with 270 kg N ha?1 and 9 t zeolite ha?1. However, the highest and the lowest seed protein percentage and oil content were obtained with 270 kg N ha?1 accompanied by 9 t zeolite ha?1, respectively. Nitrate concentration in drained water was affected by nitrogen and zeolite. The lowest and highest leached nitrate values were found in control without N and zeolite (N0Z0) and in treatments with the highest N supply without zeolite (N270Z0), respectively. In general, nitrogen-use efficiency decreased with an increase in N supply. Application of 9 t zeolite ha?1 showed higher nitrogen use efficiency than other zeolite amounts. Also, application of more N fertilizer in soil reduced nitrogen uptake efficiency. In total, application of 270 kg N ha?1 and 9 t zeolite ha?1 could be suggested as superior treatment.  相似文献

A 2-year field experiment (2012–2013) was conducted to evaluate the yield and water use efficiency (WUE) response of maize (Zea mays L.) to different soil water managements at different sowing dates. The experiment included three sowing dates (22 June, 6 July and 21 July) and four irrigation regimes based on maximum allowable depletion (MAD) of the total available soil water (TAW). The irrigation treatments were marked by I1 to I3 as 40%, 60% and 80% MAD of TAW, respectively, and with no irrigation. The results showed that grain yield reduced when planting was delayed in both years, ranging from 6105 to 4577 kg ha?1 in 2012 and from 7079 to 5380 kg ha?1 in 2013. However, WUE increased when planting was delayed from 22 June until 21 July. Also the highest grain yield was observed in the first irrigation treatment (MAD = 40%) in both years, and the highest WUE was obtained in the second irrigation treatment (MAD = 60%) with 1.64 and 1.61 (kg m?3) in 2012 and 2013, respectively. These findings suggest that delay in planting date and the use of MAD = 60% treatment in Mediterranean-type region such as Golestan, Iran, can be useful in saving water that is highly important in such regions.  相似文献

Research was performed during the 2010 and 2011 growing seasons to investigate the effect of zeolite and zinc (Zn) foliar application on the qualitative characteristics and oil yield of canola cultivars at different moisture regimes. A factorial split-plot experiment was performed on the basis of the randomized complete block design with three replications in the Seed and Plant Improvement Institute, Karaj, Iran. The treatments were as follows: (1) irrigation (I), complete (I1), and restricted (I2) at the pod formation stage, (2) zeolite (Z), 0 (Z1), and 15 t ha?1 (Z2), and (3) Zn, zinc sulfate concentrations of 0%, 0.1%, and 0.2 % (Zn1, Zn2, and Zn3) at the pod formation stage. These treatments were applied on Licord, RGS003, and Opera cultivars. The results show that the simple effect of treatments were statistically significant for all assessed traits at P < 0; as well as the interaction effects of Z and Zn (P < 0.01) and the interaction effects of I and cultivar (P < 0.01). The greatest rates of all studied traits were obtained by applying Z2Zn2 (15 ton ha?1 zeolite and 0.1% Zn sulfate) in both irrigation regimes. The rates of grain yield, biological yield, and harvest index improved by 43.82%, 73.99%, and 30.04%, respectively, using a combined application of Z and Zn. Therefore, based on the low cost of natural Z and a low Zn intake, these treatments could be used to enhance the performance of canola, especially in regions that are exposed to water stress.  相似文献

In order to investigate the changes in chlorophyll fluorescence, chlorophyll, relative water content (RWC) and forage yield of corn and sorghum under various irrigation regimes and combination treatments of barley residue, zeolite and superabsorbent polymer, an experiment was conducted over 2 years in Kerman, Iran. A randomized complete block design arranged in a factorial split was used with three replications. Two irrigation regimes of normal and drought stress based on 70 and 140 mm cumulative pan evaporation, respectively, and two plant species (corn and sorghum) as factorial combinations were compared in the main plots. Five treatments, (1) 10 t ha?1 zeolite + 4.5 t ha?1 residue, (2) 60 kg ha?1 superabsorbent + 4.5 t ha?1 residue, (3) 5 t ha?1 zeolite + 30 kg ha?1 superabsorbent + 4.5 t ha?1 residue, (4) 4.5 t ha?1 residue and (5) – control, were compared in subplots. In both plants, forage yield, potential quantum yield (Fv/Fm), chlorophyll a, total chlorophyll and carotenoid contents decreased significantly under drought stress. Chlorophyll a content, SPAD index and Fv/Fm were higher in corn than in sorghum, but RWC was higher in sorghum. Corn produced higher forage yield (62.8 t ha?1) than sorghum (49.3 t ha?1). The application of 10 t ha?1 zeolite with 4.5 t ha?1 residue increased most traits more than any of the other treatments, but the superabsorbent had no significant effect on the studied traits.  相似文献

Research was performed during the 2010 and 2011 growing seasons to investigate the effect of zeolites and zinc foliar application on the physiological characteristics of canola cultivars at different moisture regimes. A factorial split-plot experiment was performed on the basis of the randomized complete block design with three replications in the Seed and Plant Improvement Institute, Karaj, Iran. The treatments were as follows: (1) irrigation (I), complete (I1), and restricted (I2) at the pod formation stage, (2) zeolite (Z), 0 (Z1), and 15 t ha?1 (Z2), and (3) (Zn), zinc sulfate concentrations of 0%, 0.1%, and 0.2% (Zn1, Zn2, and Zn3) at the pod formation stage. These treatments were applied on Licord, RGS003, and Opera cultivars. Although applying Z and Zn had positive effects on the quality of canola, the highest performance and the best results were obtained using a combination of Z and Zn. The combined application of Z and Zn increased the relative water content, yield, and oil yield and decreased the stomatal resistance and canopy temperature. Therefore, with the low cost of natural Z and moderate Zn intake, these treatments can be used to enhance the performance of canola, especially in regions frequently subjected to water stress.  相似文献

Field experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of irrigation regimes and N levels on assimilate remobilization of two barley cultivars (Yousefsix-rowed and Nimrouztwo-rowed) in 2011 and 2012. There were three levels of water regimes (full irrigation (I100), 75% and 50% of I100: I75 and I50, respectively) in 2011. Rain-fed treatment (I0) was included in 2012. Three N levels (0, 60, and 120 kg ha?1) were used. Grain yield and assimilate remobilization decreased by severe water stress (I0), however, the reduction of them were intensified by N fertilizer application. The N remobilization was negatively affected by N fertilization and water stress. The two-rowed showed higher N remobilization (10.7%) and contribution of N remobilized to N content of grain (5.8%) than the six-rowed. The two-rowed cultivar showed significantly higher assimilate remobilization and grain yield than the six-rowed under I50 (26.3% and 6.5%, respectively) and I0 (48.7% and 17.1%, respectively), while the six-rowed had similar or higher performances in terms of these traits under I100 and I75. This study showed that optimizing irrigation and N rates (decrease N level with increasing water stress) and selection of the suitable cultivars (Nimrouztwo-rowed) might increase assimilate remobilization and consequently grain yield under drought stress conditions.  相似文献

A field experiment was carried out in a semi-arid region of Iran during the 2006–2007 growing season to investigate canola seed yield as affected by nitrogen (N) and natural zeolite (Z) rates. This experiment studied N efficiency and N leaching loss in a sandy soil. Experimental treatments consisted of a factorial combination of three N levels (90, 180, and 270 kg N ha?1) and four zeolite rates (0, 3, 6, and 9 t zeolite ha?1). The result showed that the greatest seed yield (2452.3 kg ha?1) was obtained from the N270Z9 treatment whereas the control treatment (N0Z0) produced the lowest seed yield (1038.3 kg ha?1). Moreover, use of 270 kg N ha?1 without zeolite (N270Z0) led to the greatest amount of N leaching loss (144.23 kg ha?1). Zeolite application clearly reduced N leaching loss in all N rates. This justified low N-use efficiency in high N applications. More N uptake and more canola seed yield is attributed to zeolite application.  相似文献

A field experiment was conducted during the winter seasons between 2004 and 2006 to assess the role of balanced fertilization and bioregulators (foliar-applied brassinosteroid 0.5 mg I?1, thiourea 1000 mg I?1 and kinetin 10 mg I?1) in enhancing the productivity of wheat. Conjoint application of NPKSZn (120 kg N, 40 kg P2O5, 30 kg K2O, 40 kg S, 5.5 kg Zn ha?1) recorded maximum improvements in yield attributes and significantly out-yielded all the fertilization treatments with 14.90, 4.97 and 6.39% increments in grain yield compared with NPK, NPKS and NPKZn treatments, respectively. Nutrient (N, P, K, S, Zn) content and uptake were also improved significantly with balanced fertilization. Among the bioregulators, application of 0.50 mg I?1 brassinosteroid recorded maximum increments in grain yield (14.10%), followed by 10 mg I?1 kinetin (12.31%) and 1000 mg I?1 thiourea (9.92%), over control (4.99 t ha?1). Bioregulators significantly enhanced the uptake of nutrients (N, P, K, S, Zn) over control. NPKSZn treatment also gave the maximum net return (Rs. 51,209 ha?1). Among the bioregulators, brassinosteroid provided the maximum net return (Rs. 47,292 ha?1) and benefit:cost (B:C) ratio (3.37) followed by thiourea (Rs. 45,500 ha?1 and 3.35). Kinetin also provided yield advantage, however, it gave a significantly reduced B:C ratio compared with control.  相似文献

The scarcity of non-renewable fertilizers resources and the consequences of climate change can dramatically influence the food security of future generation. Introduction of high yielding varieties, intensive cropping sequence and increasing demand of food grains day-by-day, application of recommended dose of fertilizers could not fulfill our targets due to outdated fertilizers recommendations are yet in practice. It not only alters soil quality, nutrient balance, microbial and enzymatic ecology but also affected productivity and sustainability of rice in Gangetic alluvial soils of India. The effect of fertilizers application based on “fertilizing the soil versus fertilizing the crop” which insure real balance between the applied and available soil nutrient is urgently needed. Hence, the present study was conducted during three consecutive crop seasons (2010, 2011, and 2012) to assess the effect of imbalance and balance fertilization based on initial soil test values and targeted yields, and to determine the effect of farmyard manure (FYM) when superimposed with balanced fertilizers on identification of minimum data set for the development soil quality, nutrient acquisition, and grain yield of rice. The six fertilizer treatments were laid out in a randomized block design with three replications. The treatments were: T1-control (no fertilization), T2-farmyard manure @ 5 t ha?1, T3-farmers practice (60:30:30 kg N:P2O5:K2O ha?1), T4-precise application of mineral fertilizers based on initial soil test values (77:24:46 kg N:P2O5:K2O ha?1) for targeted grain yield of 4.0 t ha?1, T5-precise application of mineral fertilizers based on initial soil test values (74:23:43 kg N:P2O5:K2O ha?1) plus FYM (5 t ha?1) for targeted grain yield of 4.0 t ha?1 and T6-precise application of mineral fertilizers based on initial soil test values (135:34:65 kg N:P2O5:K2O ha?1) for targeted rice grain yield of 5.0 t ha?1. Result revealed that the targeted rice grain yield of 4.0 and 5.0 t ha?1 was achieved in T4 and T6 treatments with 1.59% (4.06 t ha?1) and –3.40% (4.83 t ha?1) deviations, respectively. T4, T5, and T6 significantly increased crop growth, nutrient uptake, available P (Pa) and K (Ka) and augmented rice grain yield by 10.6, 20.2 and 31.6%, respectively, over T3. Microbial biomass carbon, soil respiration and enzymatic activity were enhanced significantly in T5 as compared to T6. Highest soil quality index was found in T5 (0.95) followed by T6 (0.90) and, lowest was in T1 (0.63). The contribution of minimum data set (MDS) toward the SQI was in the descending order of ALP (30.6%) > SOC (21.5%) > Ka (11.3%) > PSM (9.68%) > Na (8.51%). Overall, rice yield and soil quality was improved by using balance fertilization based on fertilizing the crop Vs fertilizing the soil in alluvial soils of India.  相似文献

A field experiment has been conducted to determine the effects of different irrigation water and AMF (Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi) biofertilizer, photosynthesis activator and traditional fertilizer dry bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on yield and growth parameters in Nevsehir Province of Turkey in 2015. The experiment has been carried out using three replications in a split plot design with three different irrigation types as main plots and AMF biofertilizer (ERS), photosynthesis activator (Multigreen-Mg), traditional fertilization (TF-Control), ERS + Mg, ERS + TF and TF + Mg applied as subplots. The number of pods per plant, the length of pods, the number of grains per pod, the weight of grains per plant, the yield of grains, 1000 seed weight, the number of grains per plant, protein yield, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi rate have been evaluated as yield and growth criteria in the study. In the experiment, as well as the treatment x irrigation interaction, the plant height, pod number per plant, pod lenght, grain number per pod, grain weight per plant, grain yield, 1000 seed weight, grain number per plant, protein rate/grain, protein yield, root weight and AMF colonization parameters, were the other studied properties that were found to be significant. The results obtained were 877.6 mm for I100 irrigation treatment, 512.2 mm for I50 irrigation treatment and 40.19 mm water for I30 irrigation treatment. Regarding the growth parameters of dry bean, the highest PH was in ERS + Mg (67.66 cm), the lowest PH was in ERS (54.33 cm); In I50, the highest Plant Height (PH) was in ERS + Mg (65.66 cm), the lowest PH was in TF-Control (53.00 cm); and in I30, the highest PH was in TF-Control (50.66 cm), and the lowest PH was again in ERS + Mg (44.33 cm). For protein yield (PY) value, ERS + Mg, ERS + TF, TF + Mg have been placed in the same group, in I100 and I50 irrigation treatment. The highest value was ERS + TF (34.90 kg da?1) in I100, The lowest value was TF-control (19.90 kg da?1) in I30 irrigation treatment. In terms of mycorrhiza colonization ratio, ERS has been ranked first in all irrigation treatments, while the highest mycorrhiza colonization has been observed in I30 irrigation treatment (26.30%). ERS was followed by ERS + Mg (23.33%). As expected, the lowest mycorrhiza colonization ratio in all irrigation treatments have been observed in TF-control treatment, while the highest mycorrhiza colonization ratio has been respectively observed in I30 and I50 irrigation topics. The highest root weight (RW) in I100 irrigation treatment was observed in ERS (15.06 g plant?1) and it was observed in ERS (19.05 g plant?1; 26.30 g plant?1) in I50 and I30 irrigation treatments. The lowest RW in all irrigation treatments has been observed in TF + Mg (4.43 g plant?1, 6.40 g plant?1, 10.26 g plant?1), respectively.  相似文献

Soil-test crop-response experiments on rice were conducted in the Bastar Plateau Agroclimatic Zone of Chhattisgarh during 2009–2011 to assess yield, soil, plant, and fertilizer nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) nutrient relationships and calibrate optimum fertilizer doses for attaining yield targets. Soil fertility status was poor to medium for N (194–283 kg ha?1) and P (7.53–19.66 kg ha?1), and medium to good for K (226–320 kg ha?1). Based on nutrient requirements (NR, kg q?1) and contributions from soil (CS, %), fertilizer (CF, %), and farmyard manure (CFYM, %), optimum fertilizer doses were derived. The fertilizer doses were validated for attaining yield targets of 5000 and 6000 kg ha?1 in farmer’s fields. Rice yield within 10% deviation was attained, which indicated that soil-test-based fertilizer dose was superior. This approach could be adopted for regions with similar soil and agroclimatic conditions in other parts of the world to increase rice yields.  相似文献

Macro-nutrients in soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.) have not been extensively researched recently. Concentrations and contents of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, and S) were determined for three irrigated cultivars grown using the early soybean production system (ESPS) on two soils (a sandy loam and a clay) in the Mississippi Delta during 2011 and 2012. Data were collected at growth stages V3, R2, R4, R6, and R8. No change in macro-nutrients due to soil type or years occurred and modern cultivars were similar to data collected >50 years ago. Mean seed yield of 3328 kg ha?1 removed 194.7 kg N ha?1, 16.5 kg P ha?1, 86.0 kg K ha?1, 17.5 kg Ca ha?1, 9.0 kg Mg ha?1, and 10.4 kg S ha?1. Increased yields over the decades are likely due to changed plant architecture and/or pests resistance, improved cultural practices, chemical weed control, and increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). Yield improvements by genetically manipulating nutrient uptake appear to be unlikely.  相似文献

This study was carried out to evaluate the impact of permanent and intermittent irrigation on the yield of rice (cv. Koohrang) in Lordegan rice-growing areas in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (Iran). The experiment was set up in a randomized complete block design with four treatments and four replications during 2003 and 2004. Irrigation treatments were: I1, continuous irrigation with a 5-cm water head every day; I2, alternative irrigation with a 5-cm water head every 2 days; I3, alternative irrigation with a 5-cm water head every 4 days; and I4, alternative irrigation with a 5 cm water head every 6 days. Results showed that the paddy yield was highest under treatment I2 (5655.6 kg ha?1) and lowest under treatment I4 (3421.3 kg ha?1). The highest rate of water use was obtained in I1 with 17 687.5 m3 ha?1 and the lowest in I4 with 9325 m3 ha?1. Paddy yield, plant height, panicle length and 1000-seed weight did not show a significant difference at the 5% level among I1, I2 and I3, but differed significantly to I4. Thus irrigation treatment I3 is appropriate for paddy irrigation in the Lordegan region with 10 645 m3 ha?1 water use and 5483.7 kg ha?1 paddy yield.  相似文献

In the present study, the effect of buried straw (two levels; MS; buried straw layer and MN; no straw layer), nitrogen fertilizer (two levels: FH, 120 kg ha?1 and FL, 80 kg ha?1), and deficit drip irrigation with irrigation frequency of 2 days (two irrigation regimes: I50; 50% and I30; 30% of evapotranspiration) was investigated on a greenhouse-grown leafy cabbage for two consecutive seasons. The results indicated that in both the seasons, T5 (MNFHI50) gave higher yield when compared to all other treatments but it also utilized more water and fertilizer. On the other hand, with a 5–10% decrease in yield comparing to T5 (MNFHI50), T2 (MBSFLI50) and T4 (MSFLI30) saved 33% of fertilizer. T4 (MBSFLI30) also gave the highest water and fertilizer use efficiencies when compared to all other treatments. However, it was clearly noted that T4 (MSFLI30) treatment could save water and nitrogen without a significant decrease in fresh yield of Chinese cabbage. Hence, T4 (MsFLI30) is the recommended strategy to manage water and nitrogen fertilizer for getting optimal leafy cabbage plant growth and yield.  相似文献

In the present study, seven fertilizer treatments [T1, 50% NPK; T2, 100% NPK (Recommended dose of fertilizer, 200–65.4–124.5 kg N-P-K ha?1); T3, 150% NPK; T4, 100% PK; T5, 100% NK; T6, 100% NP and T7, control (zero NPK)] with four replications were assessed in the new alluvial soil zone (Entisols) of West Bengal, India. The objectives of the study were to generate information on potato productivity, profitability, indigenous nutrient supply and net gain/loss of NPK in post-harvest soil. Plants grown under higher NPK supply resulted in higher tuber yield and there were significant (p ≤ 0.05) reductions in total yield with nutrient omissions. Nutrient?limited yields were 19.78, 2.83 and 1.77 t ha?1 for N, P and K, considering total tuber yield (28.24 t ha?1) obtained under 100% NPK as targeted yield. Indigenous nutrient supply of N, P and K were estimated at 24.1, 22.34 and 110.22 kg ha?1, respectively that indicates higher K?supplying capacity of experimental soil as compared to N and P. Net income (US$1349 ha?1 year?1) and B:C ratio (1.91) was highest with 100% NPK, and further addition of NPK (150%) resulted in decrease on net return (US$1193 ha?1 year?1) and B:C ratio (1.73).  相似文献

Abstract

Optimisation of water and nitrogen use is an effective management tool to conserve resources and reduce environmental pollutions. Response surface methodology (RSM) is defined as a collection of mathematical and statistical methods that are used to develop, to improve or to optimize a product or process. In order to determine optimum levels of water, nitrogen and planting density of canola (Brassica napus L.), a 2-year experiment (2010–2011) was carried out by central composite design as RSM at the research station of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The treatments were designed based on low and high levels of irrigation (1500 and 4000 m3 ha?1), nitrogen (0 and 400 kg N ha?1) and density (50 and 150 plant m?2) as independent variables. Furthermore, seed yield, nitrogen losses, nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) and water use efficiency (WUE) were measured as response variables in a full quadratic polynomial model. Optimum levels of irrigation, nitrogen and planting density were suggested to achieve the target range of dependent variables based on three scenarios: economic, environmental and eco-environmental. The results showed that increasing irrigation and fertilizer led to an increase in seed yield and nitrogen losses, whereas increasing canola density resulted in an increase in seed yield but a decrease in nitrogen losses. The optimum levels of water, fertilizer and density based on environmental scenario were 1802 m3 ha?1, 11 kg N ha?1 and 122 plant m?2, respectively. To achieve optimum conditions under the economic scenario, it is necessary to use 3411 m3 water ha?1, 178 kg N ha?1 and 119 plant m?2. Amounts of 2347 m3 water ha?1, 92 kg N ha?1 and 114 plant m?2 were found to be the optimum conditions for the eco-environmental scenario. In general, it seems that resource use based on the eco-environmental scenario may be the most favorable cropping strategy for canola production.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The effect of deficit irrigation (DI) on wheat crop yield, soil physical parameters and on nitrate nitrogen movement in soil profile was evaluated under application of dairy manure and nitrogen fertilizer. Two levels of DI were taken as I0.6 (60% FC) and I0.8 (80% FC) along with two dairy manure levels (20 and 25 Mg ha?1) and three nitrogen levels (80, 100, and 120 kg ha?1). The grain yield was high under I0.8 than I0.6, whereas the irrigation level has no significant effect on soil organic carbon contents. Dairy manure, irrigation, and nitrogen indicated strong interaction with each other for all yield-related parameters during both years of study, however, results for 2nd year were highly positive. Soil nitrate nitrogen movement was significantly affected under I0.8 with high rate of dairy manure (25 Mg ha?1) and nitrogen fertilizer (120 kg ha?1). Results concluded that combined application of dairy manure (25 Mg ha?1) and nitrogen fertilizer (120 kg ha?1) under DI level I0.8 resulted in high grain yield. To overcome water scarce conditions, further experiments can be designed by addition of various organic matters in different combination that enhances the yield and soil health.  相似文献

Because limited information is available about the validated use of a chlorophyll meter for predicting nitrogen requirements for optimum growth and yield of wheat after application of herbicides, field experiments were carried out in the winter seasons of 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 under different weed and N fertilization treatments. Five weeded treatments, application of herbicides 25 days after sowing (DAS), hand pulling once at 55 DAS and a weedy check were combined with four N application rates. Weeds were completely absent in the non-fertilized plots, either with metribuzin or hand pulling as well as in isoproturon-treated plots fertilized with 190 or 285 kg N ha?1. The grain yield was similar in the treatments of isoproturon × 190 kg N ha?1, isoproturon + diflufenican × conditional N treatment (113.9) or 190 kg N ha?1, hand pulling × conditional N treatment (104.8) or 285 kg N ha?1 and metribuzin × 190 kg N ha?1. Under weeded practices, conditional N treatment recorded the maximum nitrogen use efficiency and almost equaled the grain protein content of the 190 kg N ha?1 application rate.
