The effect of reproduction was investigated on females of Hungarian strain W, French strain F, and their cross‐breed 1X whose ovulation was stimulated with carp pituitary (0.3 mg kg?1and, after 12 h, 2.7 mg kg?1) or Ovopel (one‐fifth of a pellet per kg and, after 12 h, one pellet per kg). It was found that in the case of Ovopel treatment, the percentage of spawning females of strain F and the cross‐breed 1X was higher than in the hypophysed fish compared. The applied ovulation stimulators did not significantly affect the weight of obtained eggs, whereas the significant (P ≤ 0.01) effect was recorded with respect to the quality of eggs after 12‐, 24‐, 36‐ and 48‐h of incubation. After Ovopel stimulation, the quality of eggs was better. The origin of the females had no statistically significant effect on the weight of eggs although the yield of eggs from fish of strain W was much smaller than that from females of strain F and the 1X cross‐breed. The interaction between the ovulation stimulator and the provenance of the females was significant (P ≤ 0.05) for the percentage of live embryos after 48‐h of incubation of eggs. Eggs of the best quality (and highest weight) were obtained from fish of strain F and cross‐breed 1X treated with Ovopel. In females of strain F that spawned within 6 and 10 h after the second Ovopel injection, the effect of the ovulation time on the weight of eggs was non‐significant. It was significant with respect to the percentage of egg fertilization and of live embryos after 36‐h of incubation (P ≤ 0.01 and P ≤ 0.05 respectively). The better quality of eggs (and their higher weight) was recorded when this time was shorter.  相似文献

The study was conducted to determine if stunting of young bighead carp Aristichtys nobilis (Richardson) would affect subsequent growth and reproduction. Juveniles (3 g each) were stocked directly in cages (control) in a lake or stunted in tanks for 6, 12, 18 or 24 months before being stocked in cages. Initially, body weights and lengths of stunted carp in cages were significantly lower (P<0.05) than those of the control fish. The carp stunted for 6, 12 and 18 months showed growth compensation, although their weights and lengths were slightly lower than those of the control fish. The body weight and length of fish stunted for 24 months were the lowest throughout the rearing period. Sexual maturation occurred only in the control fish and those stunted for 6 and 12 months. However, the onset of gonad maturity was delayed significantly (P<0.05) in males stunted for 12 months and in both groups of stunted female fish. The relative fecundity (44 000–56 000 eggs per kg body weight) and number of 3‐day‐old larvae produced per female (78 000–89 000) did not differ significantly among the three treatments (P>0.05), but production was somewhat lower in fish stunted for 12 months.  相似文献

Abstract In an attempt to identify appropriate feeding rates for multispecies of fish raised in fertilized earthen ponds, the present work was conducted over a 19‐week experimental period to establish the growth performance, production and body composition of Nile tilapia, common carp and silver carp fed 0.0%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 3.0%, 5.0% biomass and to apparent satiation (treatments). Twelve ponds were stocked with a similar number and weight of each fish species. Two ponds were assigned to each of the treatments, and a 25% protein pelleted fish feed was used to feed fish at the specified rate of feeding. At the end of the experiment, growth, weight gain, survival, yield and body composition of fish groups were affected by the treatments. The economic effectiveness also varied among treatments. The most conspicuous attribute of the feeding rates was its lack of influence on growth (g day?1), weight gain (g per fish), yield (kg ha?1) or body composition of silver carp. The results of whole‐body proximate analysis indicated that various feeding rates had either an irregular pattern or no effects on the protein and ash gain per 100 g of fish body weight (bw) gain. The most notable exceptions were significant (P < 0.05) increases in body fat and gross energy gains in Nile tilapia, common carp and silver carp accompanied by decreases in percentages of moisture (but not in silver carp) as feeding rate increased. Among the six different feeding levels, feeding to apparent satiation (feed amount was equivalent to 2.67% of fish bw day?1) appeared to be optimal, as it significantly (P < 0.05) supported the highest fish production, income and net profit compared with all other treatments except for the 3% feeding level, for which the differences in those measurements were comparable.  相似文献

The effect of spawning on European catfish females with an average body weight of 5.6 kg and 11.2 kg was investigated, with carp pituitary and Ovopel being used as ovulation stimulators. Ovopel induced ovulation in a higher percentage of females of both smaller and larger body weight. The applied ovulation stimulators did not significantly affect the weight of the obtained eggs. On the other hand, the effect of the stimulators was highly significant (P≤ 0.01) with respect to the percentage of live embryos after 24‐, 48‐ and 56‐h incubation. The fish of greater body weight yielded eggs of a significantly (P≤ 0.05) greater weight, although of poorer quality. The interaction between the ovulation stimulator and female body weight was statistically significant (P≤ 0.05) for the weight of the obtained eggs and highly significant (P≤ 0.01) for the percentage of live embryos after 48‐h incubation. For the percentage of live embryos after 24‐ and 56‐h incubation, the statistical significance (P≤ 0.05) of this interaction was determined. In the case of females of smaller body weight, a statistically significant (P≤ 0.05) phenotypic correlation was found between the percentage of live embryos after 24‐h incubation and that after 48‐h incubation, and also between the percentage of live embryos after 24‐ and 56‐h incubation.  相似文献

Ovulation stimulation was carried out in carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) females of Lithuanian line B, using carp pituitary (0.3 + 2.7 mg kg?1), Aquaspawn (0.5 mL kg?1) and Aquaspawn + carp pituitary (0.3 mL kg?1 + 2.7 mg kg?1). The poorest results of reproduction (the lowest percentage of ovulating females, the lowest weight of eggs and their poorest quality) were obtained after double hypophysation. The best results were induced by the application of Aquaspawn alone. The effect of the applied stimulators was statistically non‐significant with respect to the weight of eggs, being highly significant (P ≤ 0.01) with respect to the percentage of fertilized eggs and that of living embryos after 24‐ and 36‐h incubation. The multiple‐regression equations were calculated for the three groups separately. The percentage of living embryos after 36‐h incubation constituted a dependent variable while the mass of females, the mass of eggs, the fertilization percentage and the percentage of living embryos after 24‐h incubation were independent variables. The regression was only significant (P ≤ 0.01) for the group of fish treated with Aquaspawn.  相似文献

Performance tests of the Pr?erov Scaly Carp (PS), two crossbreds (PS × M72 and PS × ROP) and an internal control group (M2 × M72) were designed to assess their production and dressing out parameters at harvest size for their potential commercial utilization. The fastest growth rate (standard length (SL): 405±21.91 mm, P<0.01) and the highest final live weight (FLW: 2015.70±323.92 g, P<0.01) were recorded in the PS × ROP hybrid. The SL values in this group of carp were 12.5%, 19.12% and 11.57% higher (P<0.01) than those at M2 × M72, PS and PS × M72, respectively, and the FLW values were 21.57%, 62.83% and 24.37% higher (P<0.01) compared with M2 × M72, PS and PS × M72 hybrids respectively. Growth rate parameters of PS × M72 hybrid and control group M2 × M72 were practically identical. The lowest growth rate potential and FLW were recorded in the PS group (P<0.01). The highest (P<0.01) dressing out parameters were found in the control group of mirror carp M2 × M72 with a dressing percentage of 65.64±2.11%. There were practically no differences in this parameter between scaly carp groups (PS: 61.79±2.82%, PS × M72: 61.51±1.72%, PS × ROP: 63.60±1.96%). This study shows evidence for faster somatic growth and bigger final weight in the hybrid line PS × ROP of 3‐year‐old common carp compared with the pure line PS and the crossbreed PS × M72.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to determine the possibility of inclusion of cold‐pressed rapeseed cake (CPRC) in diets for common carp, Cyprinus carpio L. Four isonitrogenous (322 g kg?1 crude protein) and isoenergetic diets (17.5 MJ kg?1) with four levels of CPRC incorporation 0, 110, 220 and 330 g kg?1 (treatments RC0, RC11, RC22 and RC33, respectively) were evaluated in a 50‐day growth test with common carp of 500 g initial weight. Statistically significant higher final weights (1215–1243 g) were obtained in fish fed diets including CPRC. Fish growth rates were nearly identical in all treatments (specific growth rate of 1.7–1.8% day?1). Similar results were obtained in respect of feeding coefficients (FCR) that ranged from 1.6 to 1.8. Crude protein and ash concentration in fish bodies did not change. Statistically significant decreases in moisture content were found in carp in groups RC22 and RC33. Statistically significant increase of crude lipid in fish bodies were found in groups RC22 and RC33. The slaughter traits and meat quality analysis of carp did not show significant differences. We conclude that it is possible to include up to 330 g kg?1 of CPRC in diets of 2‐year‐old common carp without significant effects on growth and food utilization.  相似文献

A 68‐day growth trial was conducted in a flow‐through system to determine the effect of dietary manganese levels on growth and tissue manganese concentration of juvenile gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio). Seven purified diets containing 7.21, 8.46, 9.50, 10.50, 13.03, 19.72 and 22.17 mg manganese (as manganic sulfate) per kilogram diet were fed to triplicate groups of fish (initial weight 3.21 ± 0.01 g). The results showed that dietary manganese levels did not significantly affect feed intake of the fish. Specific growth rate, feed efficiency, total hepatic superoxide dismutase activity, carcass and skeletal manganese concentration increased significantly with increased dietary manganese(P < 0.05) while condition factor decreased significantly(P < 0.05). It was concluded that dietary requirement of manganese was 13.77 mg Mn per kilogram diet. Carcass and skeletal manganese concentration could also be used to evaluate the manganese requirement. Total hepatic superoxide dismulase activity was not a sensitive indicator for dietary requirement.  相似文献

An 8‐week feeding trial was conducted to compare the effects of different lysine isomers on growth, nutrient utilization and metabolic enzyme activity in common carp (Cyprinus carpio). A basic experimental diet (the control group) with 30% of dietary protein from fish meal and the remaining 70% from soybean meal was used either with or without supplementation of d‐ lysine, l‐ lysine or dl‐ lysine, respectively. The total feed intake was significantly improved by supplementation with lysine regardless of isomeric form (P < 0.05). Supplementation with d‐ lysine or l‐ lysine (but not dl‐ lysine) generally increased the weight gain, specific growth rate, feed efficiency ratio and protein efficiency ratio. Dietary lysine supplementation generally increased the apparent digestibility of dry matter, crude protein and crude lipid, but no statistically significant differences were observed between the control group and the lysine‐supplement groups (P > 0.05). The d‐ amino acid oxidase and d‐ aspartate oxidase activities were generally higher in the liver, kidney and intestine of fish fed diet containing d‐ lysine compared to fish fed diet containing l‐ lysine. The lysine, protein and lipid gains in fish were markedly increased by the supplementation with d‐ lysine or l‐ lysine, and the lysine (r = 0.618, P < 0.05) and protein gains (r = 0.671, P < 0.05) were linearly related to dietary lysine intake. Lysine retention efficiency linearly decreased with the increase of dietary lysine intake (r = ?0.579, P < 0.05). These results indicate that common carp are capable of utilizing the supplemental crystalline d‐ lysine·HCl (4 g kg?1 dry diet) for growth when the rest of dietary amino acids are protein‐bound forms.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to verify whetherall-female carp populations grow faster thanbisexual ones. All-female mirror and scalypopulations were obtained by crossingmasculinizated females (neomales) of Northernmirror carp (M72) with regular females of M72and scaly Ropsa carp (ROP) purebreds,respectively. All-female and bisexual progenyof both mirror and scaly carps were rearedseparately for one year. However, controlgroups of a distinct phenotype of scalinesswere put in ponds with tested fish to make anadjustment for fish weight, which could becaused by environmental influence. Nodifferences were found after eight weeks ofrearing between all-female and bisexualpopulations, but, all-female mirror carppopulation (M72) gained 29.7% more weight(P < 0.0001) by the end of the first year thanthe bisexual (68.5 g ± 15.8 against 52.8 g± 13.9; mean ± S.D., respectively).Before beginning the second growing season,each group was marked and stocked together intriplicate ponds. Corrected weight after secondgrowing season (P < 0.0062) was 9.9% higher inall-female mirror carps (395.9 g ± 98.6)compared to the bisexual (360.2 g ± 89.0).No significant differences were found incorrected weights between scaly all-female andbisexual crossbreds (522.4 g ± 102.4 and518.3 g ± 95.8, respectively). 2017年7月~2018年6月,在青海湖的洱海、大湖、黑马河口、泉吉河口、沙柳河口和布哈河口6处采样点,共采集青海湖裸鲤(Gymnocypris przewalskii)繁殖群体样本295尾,对不同繁殖群体的繁殖特性进行比较研究。结果显示,除泉吉河口的性比(♀∶♂)<1(即0.82∶1)外,其余5个繁殖群体雌性个体数量均大于雄性(♀∶♂>1);6个繁殖群体的所有样本中,雌性的生物学最小型大于雄性。其中,雌性群体(布哈河口)的生物学最小型的年龄、全长和体重分别为5龄、157 mm和42.5 g,雄性(沙柳河口)为4龄、124 mm和24.5 g;6个繁殖群体的雌性性成熟系数(GSI)显著高于雄性(P<0.05),沙柳河口雌性GSI(19.67±1.36)%显著高于洱海(10.28±1.36)%和大湖(13.35±1.24)%(P<0.05),而不同繁殖群体雄性GSI间差异不显著(P>0.05);黑马河口平均绝对繁殖力Ft[(3338.18±324.25)粒]和相对繁殖力Fr[(21.88±2.10)粒/g]分别与沙柳河口的Ft[(10699.40±613.91)粒]和Fr[(82.68±4.63)粒/g]存在显著差异(P<0.05)。以上研究结果表明,青海湖裸鲤的繁殖特性在不同群体之间已出现分化趋势或已经分化。本研究可为进一步了解青海湖裸鲤的种群结构以及制定合理的渔业资源管理措施提供基础数据,特别是增殖放流策略的优化。  相似文献

To compare the effect of polyculture against conventional monoculture on ornamental carp production, investigations on food selection and growth performance of koi carp (K), Cyprinus carpio L. and goldfish (G), Carassius auratus (L.) were conducted in a 11‐week rearing experiment in two monoculture (100% K and 100% G) and five polyculture (90% K–10% G, 70% K–30% G, 50% K–50% G, 30% K–70% G and 10% K–90% G) conditions in tropical ponds. There were three replicates for each treatment. Environmental conditions and food availability were similar in all the treatments. Ivlev's electivity index showed that both fish species avoided phytoplankton and preferred cladocerans to other zooplankton groups (copepods and rotifers) in monotypic conditions. However, in the polyculture treatments, the positive electivity of goldfish towards cladocerans reduced significantly (P<0.05), while the percentage of copepods, rotifers and phytoplankton in the gut content increased. No significant differences in weight gain, specific growth rate and deformities were recorded at harvest for koi carp between the different treatments (P>0.05). Even the survival rate of koi carp recorded above 90% in all the treatments. However, the goldfish recorded significantly better weight gain, specific growth rate and survival in monoculture (100% G), compared with the polyculture treatments (P<0.05). Goldfish deformities were lowest (P<0.05) in the monoculture treatment (2.42%). The number of marketable fish above a set size limit of 4 g total weight was significantly higher in the two monoculture treatments, compared with the five polyculture treatments (P<0.05). Keeping in view of the dietary similarities of koi carp and goldfish, and the aggressive nature of koi carp in polyculture, it is suggested to refrain from polyculture of goldfish and koi carp until further documentations relating to optimum stocking density and management of polyculture of ornamental carps are available.  相似文献

Plant protein‐based diets are widely used for common carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian). The plant source antagonist, such as phytate, negatively affects the bioavailability of trace minerals, but this aspect was not considered in previous studies on this species. A 10‐week growth trial was conducted to investigate the effects of inorganic Zinc (ZnSO4·7H2O, Zn‐S) and organic Zn (2‐hydroxy‐4‐(methylthio) butanoic Zinc, Zn‐M) on growth performance, Zn retention and antioxidant responses of common carp (initial weight 10.0 ± 0.03 g). Eleven semi‐purified diets containing 7 mg/kg phytic acid were prepared with 0, 5, 20, 35, 50 and 65 mg/kg Zn from Zn‐S and Zn‐M (12.8 mg/kg Zn in basal level), respectively. The results showed that either Zn‐S or Zn‐M inclusion improved growth performance, vertebral Zn deposition and antioxidant responses of fish. The Zn requirement based on WGR, vertebrae Zn and plasma SOD were 47.0, >77.8 and 48.5 mg/kg, and 63.3, 42.2 and 36.8 mg/kg, respectively, with Zn‐S and Zn‐M as Zn sources. The relative bioavailability of Zn‐M was 2.44‐ (vertebrae Zn deposition) and 1.74‐fold (plasma SOD activity) the availability of Zn‐S in the diet of common carp. The lower growth performance and poor bioavailability in vertebrae of Zn‐S group were related to the chelating of zinc with phytic acid.  相似文献

The common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) is one of the major aquaculture species, contributing nearly 35% to the inland fish production in Karnataka, India. Stocks collected from Hungary (2), Indonesia and Vietnam were assessed alongside two local stocks in a series of culture performance trials with the objective of setting up a base population for developing a breeding programme. The present study deals with the genetic divergence and polymorphism in these six stocks using random‐amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. A total of 180 decamer random primers were screened for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification (OPA 1‐20, OPB1‐20, OPC1‐20, OPD1‐20, OPE1‐20, OPF1‐20, OPG1‐20, OPP1‐20 and OPM1‐20). Eight primers were selected for analysis of common carp genotypes (OPA‐7, OPA‐20, OPB‐17, OPF‐10, OP F‐9, OPG‐4, OPG‐9 and OPP‐16). Out of 492 bands recorded, 57.1% were polymorphic. Stepwise regression analysis was carried out to find best combination markers affecting body weight (P<0.001). The results demonstrate major differences in the genetic structures between different stocks. Dendrogram data showed grouping of individuals according to stocks and corresponding data variables revealed the per cent homology within the stock and also found markers correlating to the body weight.  相似文献

An 11‐week growth trial was conducted to determine dietary myo‐inositol (MI) requirement for juvenile gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio). Myo‐inositol was supplemented to the basal diet to formulate six purified diets containing 1, 56, 107, 146, 194 and 247 mg MI kg?1 diet, respectively. Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of juvenile gibel carp (initial body weight 3.38 ± 0.27 g, mean ± SD) in a flow‐through system. The diets were randomly assigned to different fish tanks. Fish fed ≥ 107 mg MI kg?1 diet had significantly higher weight gain (WG), feed efficiency (FE) and protein efficiency ratio than those fed 1 mg MI kg?1 diet. Fish fed ≥ 56 mg MI kg?1 diet had higher feeding rate and survival compared with fish fed 1 mg MI kg?1 diet. Dietary supplemental inositol did not affect fish liver inositol concentration. Fish fed ≥ 56 mg MI kg?1 diet had higher body dry matter, crude protein and gross energy and lower hepatosomatic index than fish fed 1 mg MI kg?1 diet. Dietary inositol supplementation decreased fish body ash. Quadratic regression of weight gain indicated that the myo‐inositol requirement to maximum growth for juvenile gibel carp was 165.3 mg MI kg?1 diet.  相似文献

This study describes growth variation within groups of salmonids and the relation to initial fish weights and feeding levels. PIT-tagged rainbow trout (RT) and brook trout (BT) of start weight 120–170 g were reared in separate tanks for 9 weeks. Both species were fed each day either a high ration close to satiation (H) or half of this ration (L). Four experimental groups (RT-H, RT-L, BT-H, BT-L) were studied with regard to their propensity to increase weight in accord with their initial weight. The slope of the regression line between initial weights (g) and weight increases for individuals in each tank in each period was applied as indicator for this propensity (termed “slope”). All calculated slopes in the experiment were positive which indicates the general ability of weighty fish to gain more weight than smaller individuals. The average slope during all 9 weeks was 2–4 times higher for RT-L (5.91) than for all other groups (RT-H: 1.50, P < 0.01; BT-H: 1.76, P < 0.01 and BT-L: 2.88, P < 0.05), indicating the particular propensity of large RT to gain weight when feed was restricted. Overall, ration level had large impact on slopes (H: 1.63, L: 4.39, P < 0.01), while this was not the case for species (RT: 3.71, BT: 2.32, P > 0.05). The magnitude of slopes decreased over time (weeks 0–3:4.27, weeks 3–6:3.02 and weeks 6–9:1.74, P < 0.05). The observed differences in weight gains between experimental groups were reflected in differences in coefficients of variations (CVs) for body growth. RT had larger body weight (BW) CVs compared to BT (0.257 vs. 0.206, P < 0.01) indicating more uneven feed share among RT than among BT in general. RT-L had significantly higher BW CVs than all other groups (0.300 vs. 0.184–0.229, P < 0.01). The observed differences in weight gains enhance size variations in terms of higher CVs, and this may have implications for feeding tactics in aquaculture where large size variations in groups may be disadvantageous to fish farmers.  相似文献

An experiment was conducted from December 2003 to April 2004 to observe the over‐wintering growth of freshwater prawn, Macrobrachium rosenbergii, with catla, Catla catla and rohu, Labeo rohita in polyculture using formulated diets. The study was conducted in eight experimental ponds, each 80 m2. Three experimental diets containing 30% protein were prepared using fish meal, meat and bone meal, mustard oilcake, rice bran, wheat bran and molasses (binder), and assigned to treatments T1, T2 and T3 respectively. A commercial diet from Saudi‐Bangla Fish Feed was assigned to T4 (reference diet). Each treatment had two replicate ponds. Juvenile prawns and catla and rohu fingerlings (initial weight 1.60±0.10, 30.0±1.2 and 25.0±1.1 g respectively) were stocked at a ratio of 2:1:1 (prawn:catla:rohu). A total of 160 prawn and fish (20 000 ha?1) were stocked in each pond. Fish were fed twice daily at 3% body weight (b.w.) for the first 3 months and 5% b.w. for the last 2 months. Prawns in T1 fed diet 1 had significantly higher (P<0.05) weight gain compared with that of T3. The reference group and T2 had intermediate values not significantly different from either. Weight gains of catla and rohu were significantly higher in T1. The feed conversion ratio values of different diets ranged between 1.89 and 2.13. Survival (%) ranged from 90.0% to 95.0% for catla, 87.5% to 92.5% for rohu and 70.0% to 76.3% for M. rosenbergii, and there were no significant differences (P>0.05) among different treatments. Total production ranged between 2196 and 2679 kg ha?1, with T1 showing significantly higher production and net profit (taka 56 531.9 ha?1). The results of the study demonstrated that it is possible to culture M. rosenbergii with carp in polyculture during the winter utilizing the late‐produced PLs. Further study is needed to determine the optimum stocking density of M. rosenbergii in carp polyculture.  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of nursing duration on the subsequent performance of rohu (R) Labeo rohita and mrigal (M) Cirrhina mrigala in polyculture with monosex male Nile tilapia (T) Oreochromis niloticus at four levels of pond fertilization. Nile tilapia, rohu and mrigal were stocked at a ratio of 4:1:1 in a 90‐day trial based on 40 20‐m2 pens fixed in four 400‐m2 earthen ponds. Growth of carp fingerlings during prolonged nursing (5 or 12 months) was stunted compared with fish nursed over a conventional duration of 3 months (3) but showed superior growth subsequently. Mean daily weight gain of stunted rohu (12) ranged from 2.2 to 2.8 g per fish day?1 compared with 1.1–1.6 g per fish day?1 for younger fish (3). The comparable ranges for mrigal were 1.9–2.8 and 1.4–2.1 g per fish day?1. Growth of Nile tilapia was inversely related to duration of carp nursing at the four levels of fertilization. Nile tilapia showed more response to increasing levels of fertilizer input (Y=?1.421+1.716X, where Y is the daily weight gain of Nile tilapia and X is the fertilizer level, r2=0.98, P<0.01, n=12). At a high level of fertilization (3.0 kg N:1.5 kg P ha?1 day?1), performance of stunted fingerlings (5 and 12) of both rohu and mrigal was similar (range 2.3–2.8 g per fish day?1, P>0.05), but younger mrigal (M3) grew faster than rohu (2.1 g per fish day?1 and 1.6 g per fish day?1 respectively). Older rohu (12) appeared to perform particularly well, and Nile tilapia poorly at the lowest level of fertilization (1.5 N:0.75 kg P ha?1 day?1), suggesting the impact of age of seed on competition within polycultures. The net fish yield (NFY) of tilapia was not affected significantly (P>0.05) by differential stocking age of carps; therefore, combined NFY of the three experimental fish species was not affected by the age of carp, as tilapia was the dominant species in polyculture. The highest combined NFY of all species in the most intensively fertilized pond (3.0 N:1.5 P kg ha?1 day?1) was calculated at 4.06±0.08 g·m?2 day?1, which was significantly higher (P<0.001) than the yield (1.82±0.12 g·m?2 day?1) from the pond with the lowest fertilization. At the highest fertilizer level, tilapia, rohu and mrigal contributed 72%, 14% and 14%, respectively, to the NFY, whereas the ratio was 60%, 20% and 20% at the lowest fertilization level. The study indicated that yields from tilapia in polyculture with the two carp species in more eutrophic water can be optimized if advanced nursing of carps is practised. Moreover, higher inputs of inorganic fertilizer and advanced nursing of carp are economically attractive under Bangladeshi conditions. Advanced nursing of rohu also improves its performance in more extensive systems when tilapia densities are high.  相似文献

A 60‐day feeding trial was carried out with juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian) to study the effects of myo‐inositol (MI) on the growth, digestive enzyme and intestinal microbial population. Diets with seven levels of inositol (163.5, 232.7, 384.2, 535.8, 687.3, 838.8 and 990.3 mg MI kg?1 diet) were fed to Jian carp (initial weight 22.28±0.07 g). Per cent weight gain (PWG) was improved with increasing inositol levels up to 535.8 mg MI kg?1 diet (P<0.05), and plateaued (P>0.05). The protein production value, lipid production value and ash production value were increased with increasing dietary inositol levels up to 384.2, 838.8 and 838.8 mg MI kg?1 diet respectively (P<0.05). Although intestinal protein content and trypsin activity were not affected by inositol levels (P>0.05), chymotrypsin, lipase and amylase activities in intestine were the lowest for fish fed the MI‐unsupplemented diet (P<0.05). Alkaline phosphatase, Na+, K+‐ATPase, γ‐glutamyl transpeptidase and creatinkinase activities in the intestine were increased with an increase in the inositol levels up to 384.2–687.3 mg MI kg?1 diet (P<0.05). Intestinal Aeromonas hydrophila and Escherichia coli decreased with an increase in the levels of dietary inositol up to 232.7 and 687.3 mg MI kg?1 diet respectively (P<0.05), while Lactobacillus in the intestine increased with an increase in inositol levels up to 990.3 mg MI kg?1 diet (P<0.05). In conclusion, inositol improved growth, digestive capacity and intestinal microbial population of juvenile Jian carp, and the dietary inositol requirement for PWG of juvenile Jian carp is 518.0 mg MI kg?1 diet.  相似文献

A 60‐day feeding trial was carried out to investigate the effect of iron on growth, body composition and digestive enzyme activities. Diets with seven levels of iron (53.9, 90.0, 115.6, 146.1, 176.0, 215.8 and 266.0 mg iron kg?1 diet) were fed to Jian carp (initial weight 11.4 ± 0.0 g). Per cent weight gain (PWG), feed efficiency (FE) and protein efficiency ratio were the lowest in fish fed the basal diet (P < 0.05). Body protein content was increased with the increasing iron levels (P < 0.05), but moisture, lipid and ash of fish were not significantly affected by dietary iron levels (P > 0.05). Activities of trypsin, lipase, α‐amylase, Na+, K+‐ATPase, alkaline phosphatase and gamma‐glutamyl transpeptidase were improved with increasing dietary iron levels. Serum iron were significantly enhanced with dietary iron levels up to 146.1 mg iron kg?1 diet, and plateaued. In conclusion, iron improved digestive enzyme activities of juvenile Jian carp and the dietary iron requirement for serum iron of juvenile Jian carp (11.4–64.0 g) was 147.4 mg iron kg?1 diet with ferrous fumarate as the iron source.  相似文献
