them, the public music education in colleges and universities has accumulated a lot of experience, and
it has been greatly improved. It is in the training of the students' artistic aesthetic ability and compre?
hensive artistic quality training. The important role played is obvious to all. However, it cannot be de?
nied that the development period of public music teaching mode in China's colleges and universities is
relatively short, and there is still much room for development. Therefore, this paper analyzes the current
situation of public music teaching in colleges and universities in China, and further discusses the con?
struction of music teaching mode with aesthetics as the core, hoping to provide some reference for the
