Advances on Pharmacological Activity of Polysaccharides from Animal

As a variety of biologically active polysaccharide from animal has been gradually confirmed,more attention has been paid to these compounds.Most animal medication has not only important pharmacological effects,but also is rich nutritional value.The animal source polysaccharides can improve immunity,and be helpful for anti-oxidation,anti-fatigue,lowering blood pressure and anti-tumor.Moreover,they play hepatoprotectively pharmacological role.This article summarized the pharmacological effects of animal origin polysaccharide,aiming to provide scientific references for the development of animal source polysaccharide as medicine and heathy food.
