| Abstract: | The effects of mixtures of compost and chick-muck used for improvement of salinized soil were investigated continuously for 3 years. It was found that the mixtures of compost and chick-muck could significantly incre ase organic matter and nutrient content in soil, improve the physic-chemical properties of soil, inhibit the accumulation of salt in the surface soil, lower the pH value of soil, and increasing the yields of crops growing on improved salini zed soil. |
