| Abstract: | Verticillium wilt in cotton was a major disease of the cotton growing areas in the world,it threatened cotton production of many country.This paper introduced the mechanism of virulence of Verticillium dahliae to cotton,the mechanism of Verticillium wilt resistance,the inheritance of Verticillium wilt resistance and how to evaluate Verticillium wilt resistance.At the same time,the application and newly advances of molecular biology in research on Verticillium wilt in cotton was summarized. |
