| Abstract: | This article reviews the policies on and measures taken for nontimber forest production in China at the state, Ministerial, and provincial levels since the founding of the Peoply's Republic of China in 1949. It is believed that these policies and measures are rational and economically helpful, thus enabling this sector of the forestry enterprise to develop rapidly. |
