| Abstract: | Rice production is one of the most important issues in food supplies production in China, and the planting and harvesting mechanization are two important sectors in rice production mechanization. The status of rice planting and harvesting mechanization, and the feasibility to develop rice planting and harvesting mechanization in south China were analyzed. In addition, the developing targets of rice planting mechanization in south China were proposed. The requirements for rice planter, harvester and the funding to realize the targets were analyzed subsequently. At last, there strategies were put forward to support the developing of planting mechanization. |
