摘 要: | 传统的大学英语阅读教学模式只注重词汇与语法的学习,而最近流行的篇章教学模式又过度强调篇章的结构分析而忽略语言知识的传授,这都不符合英语阅读的规律和目标。综合式英语阅读教学模式是对以上两种模式的兼容和补充,它既注重通篇理解能力又重视语言难点的掌握,并以训练学生的综合语言技能为侧重点,从而使学生能够独立自主、积极有效地完成阅读任务。

Abstract: | Traditional teaching mode of college English reading stresses only the learning of vocabulary and grammar, while Discourse mode mainly focuses On the analysis of the structure and the organization of a reading material without the adequate teaching of the usage of the language, Both of the two modes can not tally with the laws and goals of English reading. The comprehensive teaching mode of English reading embraces the advantages of the two above mentioned modes and remedies their defects, and it gives consideration not only to the overall comprehension of the material but also the mastery of the difficult points of the language, which consequently enables the students to fulfill their reading tasks inde- pendently and more effectively. |
