Characteristics and cultivation practices of new soybean variety Pudou 6018

Pudou 6018, a new registered summer soybean variety was developed by Puyang Agricultural Science Institute of Henan Province, which has won an intellectual property fight. The whole growth period was l17d, and the yield was 2 292.0 - 3 003.9kg/hm^2 in Regional Test of Henan, National Regional trial and Production Test. The seed protein content was 42.85% - 43.20% and oil content was 19.85% - 21.25%. The 100 seed weight was 24.42 g. The variety is characterized by high yield, good quality, strong disease resistance and extensive adaptability. High yield could be achieved if the standard practices were applied appropriately in sowing date, reasonable close planting, fertilization, and field management.
