摘    要:草地螟是一种兼具迁飞和滞育特性的重要农业害虫。滞育是其抵抗低温、安全越冬的唯一对策,因而在其种群动态和发生为害规律中起着重要的作用。为了阐明草地螟的种群动态和越冬规律,本文就草地螟滞育的诱导和解除、滞育的主要生理特征和机制及其对种群发生的影响等方面的进展进行了总结,以期为草地螟的预测预报与综合防治提供理论依据。

Abstract:The beet webworm, Loxostege sticticalis Linnaeus (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), is a serious pest to farming and stockbreeding in Northern China. It possesses both life history strategies of diapause and migration. Diapause is the only survival strategy for the species to pass the cold winter, which plays an important role in its population dynamics. In order to clarify the regularity of overwintering and population dynamics, advances in research on diapause of the beet webworm were summarized and analyzed in this paper by focusing on the induction, termination and physiological characteristics of diapause, and the influences of diapause on its population prevalence. The conclusion would provide some scientific theoretic evidences for enhancing the forecast and control level of L. sticticalis.
