Abstract:Studies with actidione, amino acids(serine, cysteine), hormone(BA, ABA) and H2O2 showed that BA and actidione could prevent the rise of endopeptidases activity, while cysteine, serine and ABA could enhance it. In addition, H2O2 played a role in enhancing the rise of endopeptidases activity. The treatment with actidione(an inhibitor of protein synthesis) also showed that there was endopeptidases synthesis during aging.
