Quantitative Analysis on Water Retaining Benefit of Forest for Erosion Control in Jinzhai County of Anhui Province
Abstract:The experiment indicates that the interceptive rates of China fir forest, broadleaf forest and conifer forest in summer are 9. 2%~73%, 10%~42% and 8.4%~50. 6% seperately, those in winter are 32%~66.7%,6.8%~43.8% and 23.8%~71.4%. the water capacity of litter layer of the conifer forest is the highest(559. 8%);that of the China fir forest is the second(300. 4%);and the broadleaf forest is the lowest(200. 2%).The broadleaf forest field has more soil organic matters,large non-capillary space and the greastest ability of retaining water with the highest water storage of 213 mm;the conifer forest's ability is the second with the highest water storage of 166.3 mm,the China fir forest's abality is the lowest with the highest water storage of 143mm.The direct benefits of water retaining added by the broadleaf forest, conifer forest and China fir forest are 604. 3,428.04 and 323. 5 yuan more than that of the bare land.The water penetrating rate in broadleaf forest land is high, surface runoff in the field formed slowly,annual evapotranspiration of different types of forests has little difference, which covers about 44% of the total precipatation.
