Study on Correlation Between Surface Erosion and Landforms

Surface erosion is the essence of soil loss. Physical factors influenced surface erosion as well as human factors. Slope gradient influenced the way, intensity and process of surface erosion;when the slope gradient is defipite, the intensity of surface erosion increased with the slope length, slope length in combination with gradient affected degree of surface erosion. Surface erosion has positive linear correlation with relative height of slope ; slope form and slope direction affected the way and intensity of surface erosion; raising erosion level artificially can control and decrease intensity of surface erosion; gully density, area of surface, river bed form, river form,recent structure movement and scatter erosion land form all have great influence on surface erosion.
