Abstract: | Temporomandibular subluxation was diagnosed in a 2-year old Irish Setter dog. The presenting sign was frequent bouts of open jaw-locking. Tomographic evidence suggested that temporomandibular dysplasia was a factor in the aetiology of the condition. Surgical excision of rostral segments of the zygomatic arches effectively alleviated the clinical condition. |
