番鸭肥肝生产试验初报

本试验将淘汰的福建白番鸭34只按性别分为试验组和对照组。试验组的番鸭用煮熟的黄玉米拌少量的花生油、食盐、多种维生素和细砂的粒料填肥2周。对照组的番鸭给与同样的玉米粒料自由采食。结果,试验组的16只番鸭平均肝重为255.34±44.23克,其中公番鸭的平均肝重(257.19±47.32克)高于母番鸭(253.50±41.13克),个体最高达354.50克。对照组的18只番鸭平均肝重51.23±16.16克。试验组的平均肝重约为对照组的五倍。试验组的番鸭在增加肝重的同时,平均体重由2.51±0.23公斤增加至3.62±0.21公斤,即增加44.22±9.06％,而对照组只增加1.57±2.61％。试验组番鸭的全净膛屠宰率为71.88％,虽已去掉肥肝而仍与对照组的屠宰率72.64％相接近。试验组番鸭平均每消耗1公斤玉米增加肝重35.50克和体重0.18公斤。经品尝两组肝、肉的味道,试验组的肝和肉都比对照组鲜美适口。上述试验组番鸭的肝增重、体增重和饲料报酬等生产性能都或多或少地胜于同样用玉米拉料填肥2周的北京鸭或建昌鸭。因此,用番鸭生产肥肝可望有良好的前景。

A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON TEST OF PRODUCING FATTY LIVER WITH MUSCOVY DUCKS

In this test,34 culled mature white muscovy ducks in Fujian province were divided into treatment and control groups by both sexes.The ducks in the treatment group were fattened forcibly with a grain feed composed of cooked yellow corn grain and mixed with a small amount of peanut oil,salt, multivitamin and sand for 2 weeks,whereas the ducks in the control group were self-fed on the same grain feed.Our investigations show that the average liver weight of 16 ducks in the treatment group is 255.344±44.23 grams,of which,the average liver weight of the male ducks(257.19±47.32 grams) is higher than that of the female(253.50±41.13 grams),and the heavest liver weight of the individual duck attained to 354.50 grams.The average liver weight of 18 ducks in the control group is 51.23±16.16 grams,thus the average liver weight of the treatment group is about 5 times of the control group. At the same time of producing fatty liver,the ducks in the treatment group also increases in body weight,which is 2.51±0.23 Kilograms at the start and then to 3.62±0.21 Kilograms at the end of the test.It has an increase of 44.22％ ±9.06,in contrast to 1.57％±2.61 of the control group.The drawn dressing percentage of the ducks in the treatment group is 71.88％ which approaches to the dressing percentage of 72.64％ made by the control group,although their liver have been removed.The ducks in the treatment group convert every one Kilogram of corn consumed to 35.50 grams fatty liver and 0.18 Kilograms body weight.Both the liver and meat of treatment and control groups were tasted and the liver and meat of the treatment group are more palatable than that of the control group.The perfomance of gain in liver,gain in body weight,and feed conversion efficiency of the muscovy ducks in treatment group stated above is all in preference,more or less,to the Beijing ducks that are likwise force-fed with feed-corn grain for 8 weeks.Therefore it seems to be prospective well to use muscovy ducks for fatty liver production.
