| Abstract: | F131S,an indica Dual-purpose Genic Male-sterile Line,was developed from the singleplant selection of F_2 progeny of the cross Annong s-1/Mixian Guangluai.It is a Temperature-sensitive Genic Male-sterile Line,whose fertility alteration is induced by lower temperatureconditions.The F131S is an early-season indica and early-ripening rice,It is of very stablesterility during its sterile stage and its sterile peridis very long(over 80 days).Its sterileplant rate and sterile pollen rate both reach 100%,It is of uniform agronomical characters, de-sirable flowering habits,higher cross-fertile and self-fertile percentage and good combiningability. The heterosis of combinations crossed with F131S is stronger than that of the threeline hybrid.Therefore,the F131S is of exploitable value. |
