| Abstract: | Pipe sarmentosum Roxb. is a medicine and food dual purpose plant, which range over south China and rich in resources. This paper will present the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of domestic and external aspects of Pipe sarmentosum Roxb. Extract. Such as antibacterial activity, insecticidal effect, allelopathy effect, repellent effect and antioxidant effect. The review will provide scientific basis for the purpose of Piper sarmentosum as natural antibiotics in livestock and poultry industry. |
