藏猪主要繁衍、栖息在西藏高原。是适应高寒气候的独特的高原型原始品种。本文通过对藏猪放牧及其生活习性进行系统的调查研究,结果表明,藏猪不仅适应原始的、粗放的放牧饲养制度和放牧方式,并且具有其特有的生活习性。文章首次揭示,藏猪放牧制度的形成是藏猪对西藏特定的生态因子和社会生产力水平适应的结果;藏猪所特有的生活习性,使其能较好地适应原始、粗放的野外放牧饲养方式。
