| Abstract: | this paper put forward a new system MPOEDS(mountain, piedmont, oasis, ecotone and desert system), which is the base of sustainable development of Fukang oasis. It is suggested that the oasis development should depend upon water distribution that called water axis. The MPOEDS include five ecological and economic function belts and three zones. |
