“和谐社会”与高校党的建设的若干思考

“和谐社会”是一种社会理念，在不同的历史形态下有不同的表现形式，党的十六届六中全会对构建“社会主义和谐社会”作出全面部署。高校党的建设在培养社会主义和谐社会建设人才、建设社会主义和谐文化、发展和谐社会生产力、促进社会安定有序等方面具有特殊的功能和举足轻重的作用。高校党组织要在构建和谐社会历史进程中发挥作用，就必须加强高校党建工作，加强大学生思想政治教育工作，建设和谐校园。

A consideration of the harmonious society and Party buiding at colleges and universities

Harmounious society is a social ideal which performs in different ways in different historical forms. The Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the CPC has conducted the fullscale deployment for building a socialist harmonious society. In this situation, Party building at colleges and universities plays a crucial role in training talents for building a socialist harmonious society, developing a socialist harmonious culture, developing productive force in harmonious society, keeping the society in order. Party organization at colleges and universities plays its role in the historical process of building a socialist harmonious society. In order to give full play to its role, Party building and college students ideological and political education have to be strengthened, so as to build a harmonious campus.
