| Abstract: | Bioavailability of oxytetracycline HCl was investigated in Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar L.) in seawater at 7–8 °C. A group of 80 fish received an intravascular injection of 20 mg kg−1 body weight. Another group of about 90 fish were force-fed with medicated feed containing a dose of 50 mg kg−1 body weight. The oral bioavailability was found to be only 2%. |
