贮存时间对西瓜种子活力的影响

摘    要:对6个不同贮存年份西瓜种子的生活力和体内生理生化变化及酯酶同工酶进行了测定。结果表明,西瓜种子的发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数及活力指数等指标与贮存时间呈极显著负相关;种子浸提液电导率与贮存时间呈极显著正相关。西瓜种子活力在一定的贮存年限内变化不大,但贮存时间超过3年以上,种子劣变加剧,生活力急剧下降。由于测定种子电导率具有快速、灵敏、准确的特点,因此可作为测定种子生理生化变化和活力的重要手段之一。

The Effect of Different Storage-time on Watermelon Seed Viability
Abstract:The viability of watermelon seeds were determined in relation with physiological, biochemicalchanges and esterase isozymes of the seeds which have been stored in different years. The experimentshowed significantly negative correlation between germination percentage, germinating potential,germination index, viability index and the storage-time; the correlation between the electrical conductivityof seed soaking liquid and stomp time are significant positive. Viability of seeds changes slightly Whenthose seeds have been stored for less than three years. If the storage-time is more than 3 year, however,percentage of inferior seeds increased sharply and the viability of seeds remarkably fored. Thedetermination of seed electrical conductivity has the merits of being rapid, sensitive, and accurate.Therefore it is one of important means to determine the physiological and biochemical changes of seeds.
