| Abstract: | Anastatus albitarsis Ashmead is an important egg parasite for Dendrolimus punctatus Walker and is distributed in various types of pine forests in Zhejiang Province. There are two peaks of adult emergence in a year. May-June and September~October, which synchronize with the oviposition period of D.punctatus in Zhejiang province.Its parasitic rate is 22.9%.The body of the wasp is relatively big with a longer life-span and a powerful searching ability. Besides, it can be bred easily in large numbers with tussah eggs and is a useful parasite for control. |
