大学英语四级统考成绩与硕士生英语入学统考成绩关系的定量研究

本文对 78名应届考生的大学英语四级统考成绩与硕士生英语入学统考成绩进行了定量研究。得出了大学英语四级统考成绩与硕士生英语入学统考成绩之间存在着较高度正相关的结论。据此 ,本文认为 :大力加强英语教学 ,最大幅度地提高本科生大学英语四级统考的通过率和平均成绩 ,最终提高硕士生考生英语入学统考成绩的及格率和整体水平 ,是本科生基础英语水平尚低的边远省区和部分内陆省份发展研究生教育的重要措施之一。

A Quantitative Study of the Scores of Cet Band 4 and English scores of Graduate Study Entrance Examination

This paper made a quantitative study of 78 undergraduates' CET Band 4 scores by comparing them with those of graduate study entrance examination and came to conclusion that there existed a relatively high positive interrelationship between the scores of Band 4 and those of graduate study entrance examination.Based an these facts,the author of this paper held that devoting major efforts to strengthening college English teaching in order to improve the pass rate and average score of CET and in time to improve the score of graduate study entrance English Exam is one of the important strategies of the remote areas and some of the inner provinces where the English level of college students are relatively lower.
