Abstract: | Congenital and hereditary cataract associated with microphthalmos is recorded and described in the Miniature Schnauzer in the United Kingdom. The cataract is present at birth, bilateral, essentially nuclear and usually not progressive. It is due to a simple, autosomal, recessive gene. |
