甜玉米自交系作测验种数目研究

摘    要:选用表现较好的9个普甜玉米(Zea mays.L.saccharata Sturt)自交系作测验种,用新选育的10个普甜玉米自交系作待测系,采用NCⅡ交配设计和相关分析的方法,对待测系的配合力测定中测验中最少数目进行研究。结果表明:若对测验种加以筛选,被筛选出的测验种只有其中一个,就能较准确地测定待测系的产量GCA(一般配合力);若对测验种不加筛选,则能够较准确地测定待测系的产量GCA的最少测验种数目为3个。对8个农艺性状进行测验种测定效果评价时,株高、生育期、穗重、穗粗、行粒数及千粒重对测验种的选择不太严格;而秃尖长对测验种的选择较严格。

Abstract:Nine good inbred lines of sweet corn ( Zea mays subsp. saccharata Sturt) were used as testers and 10 newly developed inbred lines as testees. North Carolina Design II (NC II) and correlation analysis were adopted to study the minimum number of testers in testing the combining ability of the testees. The results showed that if the testers were pre-selected, one selected tester was enough to make an accurate estimation of the general combining ability (GCA) of the grain yield of the testee, and 3 or more testers were required if they had not been pre-selected. Of the 8 agronomic characters of the testers, used in the evaluation of the effectiveness of testing, plant height, growth duration, ear weight, ear length, ear diameter, kernels per row and 1000-kernel-weight did not show strict requirement for tester selection while bare tip length required relatively strict tester selection.
