Abstract: | Inhalational agents with low blood/gas solubilities (halothane, isoflurane, and nitrous oxide) are preferred for mask induction. A gradual step up in the vaporizer concentration is the recommended induction method because it is generally smoother and safer than the crash induction technique. |
