浅谈北方两系不育系选育方法

依据两系不育系的遗传理论及北方的气候特点,提出了北方两系不育系的选育目标。在不育基因来源上以不育起点温度低、长短光育性转换敏感、一般配合力强、特殊配合力好的材料为亲本,提出了对低代、高代不育材料的选择方法和解决高代不育系育性波动问题的办法,以期推动北方杂交粳稻的快速发展。

On Breeding Method for Two-Line Rice Male Sterile Line in the North

According to the genetic principle of two-line male sterile line and climatic characters in the north,the breeding target for two-line male sterile line was discussed in this paper.The sterile gene(s) should originate from parents with low sterile threshold temperature,sensitive long and short photo-period fertility alternation,high general combining ability,good special combining ability.The screening methods for sterile materials at low and high generations as well as the countermeasures for the fertility fluctuation of sterile line at high generation were put forward to accelerate the rapid development of hybrid japonica rice in the north.
