摘    要:对2001~2002年长江流域棉花品种区域试验纤维品质数据进行了主成分和聚类分析,8个纤维品质指标可归纳为4个主成分(共解释了总变异的85.9%),并根据试点的前4个标准化主成分得分,用类平均聚类分析方法将20个试点划分为4个纤维品质相似亚区,即A、B、C、D亚区。A亚区纤维品质相对较差,B、C、D亚区纤维品质平均表现差异不大,但在具体指标上又各有特色,分别在绒长、麦克隆值和比强度上表现较好。同时对以亚区为单位进行优质棉区域化种植和育种的必要性、可行性进行了讨论。

Abstract:Data of cotton fiber characters from Yangtze Valley Cotton Regional Trials conducted in 2001 and 2002 were studied by means of principal component analysis and clustering anal ysis. Eight fiber quality indexes were reduced as the first four principal components (85. 9% of the total variation was explained), and 20 trial-locations of interest could be divided into 4 sub-regions with similar fiber quality, namely, sub-region A, B, C and D. Sub-region A was relatively poor-quality area, while the other three sub-regions were similar in mean performances but showed distinctive dissimilarity in individual fiber quality indexes. Sub-region B behaved predominantly in fiber length, while C and D exhibited good performances in micronaire and fiber strength, respectively. Meanwhile, the necessity and feasibility of the regionalization of high-quality cotton planting and breeding on the basis of sub-regions were also discussed
