黑熊蛔虫性肠梗阻病理诊断

本文介绍了一例公园观赏用成年雄性黑熊由于大量蛔虫寄生致肠梗阻而死亡的临床症状及尸体剖检结果。发现小肠部有大量蛔虫寄生,形成缠结致肠梗阻。于阻塞处共检出蛔虫0.75kg,约1800余条,虫体多数为未成熟的雄性幼虫。诊断该熊死因是大量蛔虫虫寄生引起慢性胃肠炎继发肠梗阻,最后导致中毒性休克。认为该熊非属一次性感染,与饲养管理不善有密切关系。

Pathological Diagnosis of the Ascarid Obstruction in Intestine of a Black Bear

This paper presented the clinical signs and the autopsy result of a black adult male bear which died of roundworm-parasitic intestinal obstruction in a zoo. There werc a lot of parasitic roundworms in small intestine, which formed the volvulus resulting in intestinal obstruction. A weight of 0.75Kg (about 1800 in number) of roundworms was got in the obstruction. These roundworms mostly were male larva. The thing accounting for the bea's death was the parasitism of a lot of round worms resulting in a chronic enterogastritis and secondary intestinal ob struction, finally causing toxic shock. The authors suggested that the bear death was not due to the first infection, but closely related to the poor feeding system.
