Abstract: | On the ecophysiological significance of phenolics and proteins in spruce needles (Picea abies Karst.) Some interrelationships between proteins, phenols and carbohydrates in spruce needles from cut branches as well as their connection with physiological and genetical qualities of spruce are investigated. In addition analytical data are given for proteins and phenols in homogenized and freeze-dried needles which were extracted in different ways. |
