| Abstract: | A new inoculation method for testing the resistance of poplars to bacterial canker caused by Xanthomonas populi subsp. populi (Ridé) Ridé & Ridé is discussed. The procedure is based on a more natural infection method and involves spraying plants in spring with bacterial suspensions. |
