| Abstract: | Taking 2-chloronicotinic acid as starting material,the 2-mercapto-nicotinic acid was synthesized through sulfhydrylation with thiourea.The optimized reaction conditions led to the yield of 2-mercapto-nicotinic acid as 82%. |
