| Abstract: | A computer database has been developed on insect pests infesting fruits, for use by phytosanitary inspectors and pest risk analysts in China. A total of 304 species is covered. Besides basic nomenclatural, biological and distributional information on each pest, the database includes dangerousness scores calculated according to a new system, and an identification system based on external characters. |
